I will offer a different suggestion. You are an ego, that is the separation from God. Until you get past your persona and realize how fake it is, and then learn who you really are, you will just die and return in an endless cycle. Death and birth are simply parts of the ego's dreamscape, neither are real and that is why we all know we never die, but if you die with an ego in tact you will return here and create another ego. The only known way out of here is to become enlightened before you die, that breaks the ego's cycle. There is no reason to fix the ego, it is a fear based security system, all expectations will lead to suffering, all desire leads to suffering, that is how the ego's game works. The body is its creation, believing in the body is to believe you are your ego. This entire place is nothing but the ego's playground, as Jesus said, Be in the world but not of it, the world is the ego's playground and as long as you believe it is real then it will trap you here. You are your beliefs, beliefs are made from perspectives. If you want to be stuck here for another life there is nothing to do as that is the default of this dreamscape, if you want out, learn from enlightened masters how to do it. Making life better will get you dead soon enough, and then you get to start over, or you can use this life to get out, it is up to you. All enlightened masters speak of this, it is not a secret. Go study them, Osho has tons of free discourses on line, ACIM is Jesus trying to get people out of there ego's an dout of the egos playground, Zen monasteries all over the world are trying to get people out of there ego. There is no other thing to really do here but be part of the ego's game, or do what you can to get out.
