- Farrah Leni Fawcett (February 2, 1947 - June 25, 2009) was an American actress. A four-time Primetime Emmy Award nominee and six-time Golden Globe Award nominee, she rose to international fame when she played a starring role in the first season of the television series Charlie's Angels.
Fawcett began her career in the 1960s appearing in commercials and guest roles on television. During the 1970s, she appeared in numerous television series, including The Six Million Dollar Man with her then-husband, film and television star Lee Majors. Fawcett's breakthrough role was the role of private investigator Jill Munroe in Charlie's Angels, which co-starred Kate Jackson and Jaclyn Smith. The show propelled all three actresses to stardom. After appearing in the show's first season in 1976, she decided to leave Charlie's Angels. She later returned as a guest star in six episodes during the show's third and fourth seasons. For her work in Charlie's Angels, Fawcett received her first Golden Globe nomination.
In 1983, she received positive reviews for her performance in the Off-Broadway play Extremities. She was subsequently cast in the 1986 film version and received a Golden Globe nomination. She received Emmy Award nominations for her role as a battered wife in The Burning Bed and for her portrayal of real-life murderer Diane Downs in Small Sacrifices. Her 1980s work in TV movies earned her four additional Golden Globe nominations. Although Fawcett weathered some negative press for a rambling appearance on The Late Show with David Letterman in 1997, she garnered strong reviews that year for her role in the film The Apostle with Robert Duvall.
In 1979, she became romantically involved with actor Ryan O'Neal, and they had a son named Redmond James Fawcett O'Neal, who was born in 1985.
In the 21st century, Fawcett continued acting on television, holding recurring roles on the sitcom Spin City and the drama The Guardian. For the latter, she received her third Emmy nomination.
She was diagnosed with anal cancer in 2006, and although after treatment she was cancer free by 2007, Fawcett experienced a recurrence and died two years later at age 62. She posthumously earned her fourth Emmy nomination for her work as a producer on Farrah's Story. - Розваги

Farrah Fawcett was one of the most beautiful women in the 20th century. She had a naturally beautiful face, enviable hair, and a great figure. She also was a really good actress. Her performances in “Extremities” and “The Burning Bed” were stellar. It was a shame that she lost her battle with cancer at a relatively young age.

I have great memories of Farrah and her family. Her family moved to the Klein area of the Houston suburbs where I grew up. My parents were great friends with her parents, and Mr. Fawcett was so friendly and funny. He never met a stranger. Farrah's mother was also sweet, and I remember going to one of her yard sales.
That's lovely to hear. She seemed to idolise her parents. Looking at those photos you can see something began to decline in her in her late 40's which had nothing to do with aging. It's like a light went out.
@@acechadwick you could really see a change in her mid forties. Between getting older and the changing looks that come with that, being with a cheating jerk, raising a wayward child, and aging parents, she had a lot of stress.

Plus que belle, elle avait un je ne sais quoi de candide, d'adorable, un charme éblouissant. On l'a trop peu vue en Drôle de Dame, elle est partie de la série très vite, et sans elle, les épisodes n'avaient plus la même saveur. Les autres actrices, bien qu'excellentes, n'avaient pas le même charisme. Le cinéma ne lui a pas donné la place qu'elle méritait. Que Farrah Fawcett repose en paix.

I’m the same age now that she was when she died. Must be something about this age because I just got diagnosed with a tumor the size of a large orange. Just got out of the hospital yesterday and now I have to follow up with oncology. Pretty sure mine is nothing. But 62 is way too young for someone to die.

I will be 60 years old May 2, 2023. I was the only kid that did not have a Farrah Fawcett poster. I was more of a Kate Jackson boy. Having said that, I adore Farrah. she was a much better actress than anyone ever gave her credit for.
