Me and my wife have been looking for a new hobby I like to collect and build things and she loves to paint we just watched this and think it would a lot of fun building and painting these figures. We will learn how to play on a later date but I can’t get over the detail in these figures!
Awesome! I think you both will find a lot of enjoyment then in this hobby. You can get so creative with how you custom build a lot of these minis and there’s so many interesting ways to paint them. Welcome aboard 😀
Love the kitbashed Nurgle Demon Prince! Great color scheme, paint job, and basing too! I suppose the lore narrative that they are recently turned to chaos explains away the point of loreder that the Deathshroud are Mortaion's bodyguards; they could be on loan since *spoiler alert* Morty got banished to the warp not long after the Death Guard embraced Nurgle. Great rihno kitbash and smattering of tentacle conversions too! Awesome army showcase.

Loved the showcase. Huge fan of the Creamy Bone using Green as an accent. Gives a clean yet dirty feel.

Such a cool looking army. I'm also a heretical follower of Nurgle myself and am looking to build and collect my own Death Guard army.
Though I will be mixing it up with kitbashing, conversions, proxies and scratch building as 40K models are quite pricey. I don't see myself in any official GW tournaments and as long as I don't go over the top with sizes, measurements, etc, I think I should be okay.

@@flashingbadgerpainting For sure. It'll take me a while to get anywhere near your collection, but just thinking about it is quite exciting. I already have a few plague marine kits, some poxwalkers and Typhus, plus some other things I could possibly kitbash or convert, so it's a great place to start. Though I am tempted to grab some more before the March 6 price increase reaches my local game store.
Also remember that eBay is a great source because people have doubles and triples of all the unique elite characters that will be gathering dust in their pile of shame.
You will have heaps of fun so enjoy the journey!
@@flashingbadgerpainting I forgot to mention, but I got all my current Death Guard sprues from eBay. I keep an eye on my favourite vendor for updates sometimes. :)
