Earning an instrument rating is a fun and rewarding experience that will give you added confidence and provide more options and greater utility. But instrument flying is also unforgiving, and requires more than just passing a checkride - it requires a system of continuing education and proficiency.
While your instrument flying skills and cockpit management techniques will no doubt be sharp when you earn the rating, instrument skills and knowledge can degrade quickly. Join us for Instrument Proficiency Check to sharpen those instrument flying fundamentals. Topics will include regulations and procedures and strategies for maintaining instrument proficiency. - Наука та технологія
Coming back to flying. Last instrument flight as PIC was 1989. Went through your IPC video and was truly relieved that I remembered a lot of the information as it gave me confidence that I should be able to get back to competency thanks to my 8000 hrs. of flying.I plan on scheduling a big block of time with a CFII and looking forward using a glass cockpit. Wow, got excited about the mass of info available from a fully certified “glass cockpit”.
Eric, great presentation but your audio was really tough to listen too. Next time make sure you do your 3 minute mic check, MIC M=Mic Position, I=Inches away from the mic, C=Clarity
FPM= (GS/60)x FPNM= FPM
TAS-76kts, 10kts headwind, GS=66.
66/60=1.1
1.1x430=473FPM.
It sounded like Eric was moving close to the mike and back away from it while talking. I moved past the distraction in about the first 3 minutes, but then I have also talked on military radios built by the lowest bidder for many years... :-D Thanks for a great presentation guys!
As an audio engineer, it’s killing me 😩
Thank you so much for this webinar, I truly appreciate Sporty's Academy 😉
Great information for my upcoming IPC. Thanks for making this available.
Aren’t there three types of SIDS? RNAV/RNP, Radar vector, Hybrid?

Excellent content. Thank you for sharing.
Climb via? U need to clarify. 3000 feet or 5000 MEA on the legs?
The first minute made me want to turn this off. Glad I stuck with it, as it was a great presentation. Thank you for putting this up Sporty’s, and thanks to the instructors for doing such a wonderful job. Get your audio fixed😛

Not understanding the “Top Altitude 3000” when the MEA looks to be 5000.

Inconsistent audio level makes this unusable.
The audio is like Chinese water torture. I quit.
Terrible audio
Could of been a great vidieo... But as mentioned by others , "TERRIBLE Audio" !
A lot of ambiguities in your explanations. Great outline tho.
