I have to say from the beginning that I never thought that they will have the balls to bring this equality between a strong male and an younger "innocent" female, because in that scenario during the interrogation when Daryl knew that Lydia was lying there's no "too harsh", props to AMC for doing that, you don't see it so often. The scene was so much better than in the comics and Daryl was so imposing and therening. It really gave me the season 2 Randall vibes. But the best part was Daryl listening to Henry and Lydia's conversation after he schooled Henry, planning his next move on gathering new info from Lydia. It really showed his intelligence and how right is Michonne about him. The casting for Lydia is great, the actress did an amazing job.
Daryl just knows how to play Bad Cop well, letting Henry be the Good Cop because he knows the boy is a good, if somewhat still wet-behind-the-ears kid.
Which means no RJ or Judith, or at least it shouldn't, she wouldn't leave them. It's a great show and I'm still enjoying it but I give up after they go because I don't really care enough about anyone left. Only Daryl and Carol and they're not doing much tbh. Wouldn't be surprised if one of them goes next it's a downward spiral once the lead goes. Which is a shame, I'll wait for the films and then finish there I think.
The bridge was neat to see . I was there last summer taking photos of it. It's 100 years old and beautiful. Was great to see they used it in the show. It's about an hour away from Senoia Ga
I wasn't bothered or confused with Judith being out on her own. The reason? She has a LOT of Carl in her. Carl was a rebellious kid, so it makes sense for her to be like him in that regard. And maybe I'm looking too into this next bit but when she said, "Language! I'm a kid, asshole," and Negan smiled, I felt he did because she reminds him of Carl (as well as them being semi-close now). There were a lot of callbacks to past seasons. When Negan was on top of the bed as the dogs searched for him, the way the camera was set reminded me of Rick when he was on the RV during season 7 (when Negan tells Rick to fetch him his axe). Then the spot scene where Negan bashed Glen and Abraham's heads in, and so on. AMAZING episode.
The main difference in guts and skins: the characters we know used guts very sparingly only when they absolutely had to, the whisperers wear skins all day every day no matter what. It’s become a part of who they are.
When Negan was escaping from the dogs it would have been hilarious if that Walker he grabbed had actually been a Whisperer, and then you just heard a dude screaming as the dog tears into him, lolol!!!

One good tell for the Whispers would be zombies that are wearing clothes still! ;D at the point many of the walkers clothes (at least tops) are weathered, ripped with many holes, or destroyed entirely over years. Many zombies have their ribs exposed, so at least for those zombie you can be safe when overextending with attacks. That would help to at least distinguish some of the real and fake zombie, watch out for the clothed ones
I'm sure you know that a big looking gun like the. 357 mag can also shoot .38 cal , I hope that helps you with believing she can handle the gun it actually makes it easier to handle being a heavy gun with a light load.

Good GOD this episode utilized our knowledge of walkers so well; it turned it against us, just like the characters, revealing the Whisperers in the most spine-tingling way I've seen in years. Also loved the cleverness of Daryl being the "bad cop" to position Henry as Lydia's "ally." And lastly, Judith is absolutely living up to her Asskicker name. I just wish she hadn't let Negan go and back so easily; it bugged me too how easily she came and went outside the walls, but hopefully it'll keep playing to her strengths going forward.

because people easily forget that Negan is living about 9 years into an undead nightmare where you have to do anything you can to live and not living in current cushy 2019 society. People are thinking of pet dogs when they see the dog on screen and say "aww cute puppy" but would change their mind real quick if they were trapped in a room about to get eaten alive by a wild one like he was.

Man, I'm tired of an actor/actresses' exit on the show being confiremd before the season is even out. It happened with Rick and now Michonne. Remember Glenn's death? That was shocking! Imagine if Rick's "death" happened naturally without AMC marketing the hell out of it? Now we know Michonne will either die or exit the show in some way with no suspense whatsoever.

@@GraveDigger35 nah there would have been a scene with Michonne and everyone scolding Judith for letting him go or at least telling her don't go alone or something. She didn't tell so no one knew he escaped I think. He'd only been gone half a day
