I love TWD! Every year, before the start of a new season, I rewatch every past season to refresh my memory... even though at this point I have most of it memorized lol. Darrell is CLEARLY the best character, but I also like Neegan because he's so multifaceted and charming in his own way. I have so much high praise for the show that I could write a hundred page report on it, but instead, I'll just say that one of only a few criticisms I have is regarding Terminus. I felt like it was a total blue ball. So much build up for such a brief and rather blah "climax" that wasn't very climatic.

Then Glenn died and I quit, then my second sister quit halfway through season 7, my parents both quit less than a quarter through season 8 and my other sister is behind by more than eight episodes. This show sucks now man.
It's interesting now that the host is talking about leaving the fans hanging, like the show LOST, do the writers, producers they know the TWD direction. Luckily, they had the comic book for source material. Andrew L. mentioned in a few interviews that at the end of season 7 he knew he was ready to leave the show and told the show runners in Season 8 that Season 9 would be his last. He also mentioned that he had little interest in coming back and fans are going to be upset that they might want to throw out their TV's, in a way implying that he was DONE even for TWD movies. As a huge fan of the comic books and TWD up to part of Season 7. Negan killed and ruined it for me. Despite knowing from the comic books Negan was approaching. TWD tv show deviated from the comic books and I wanted ABE and GLEN to live but no they could have killed Eugene and or Tara and I would have been just fine. The problem despite mismanagement of money for the show, they broke up a family, the unity of actors who made the characters larger than life, carried the show but instead of really digging in deep and finding other ways to drive the story and introduce comic book elements they took the easy way, by not remembering facts that fans remember about previous season events and details about characters and crappy CGI. With a limited budget, they didn't have to rely on crappy CGI to create a good episode or season, hell there are plenty of tv shows with less that half the budget of TWD and produce better quality show. Rely on talent not predictable formulas and it will pay off. I hate Negan, the show really invested in everything Negan and TWD isn't just about Negan, but mega Negan fans who most likely are deranged themselves love his rapist, murdering, lying, narcissistic, delusional image because people find him attractive and charming? He's the fucking devil walking on earth and it's truly sad that a huge group of people worship Negan. Anyway, if you go on to IMDB under Andrew Lincoln's name for TWD movies, since 2018/19 to 2022 it keeps showing "preproduction." How many years can that be pushed back? AMC is known for being ruthless, greedy and unethical, despite turning out great shows. They overpay the male actors and directors, editors and showrunners and underpay the women in general. So many lawsuits it's crazy, yet despite my issues I love watching the walking dead S1-6 and then my poor fan heart can't handle ABE and GLEN being killed ruthlessly by Negan. I haven't been able to watch Season 8 because Carl dies, and Season 9 because Rick is supposedly dead after impregnating Michonne with RJ jr. Michonne leaves in Season 10 looking for Rick and leaves Judith and RJ to be watched by the community and Daryl. Basically my core family is gone from the show. The magic isn't there. I hear now Maggie is fucking in love with Negan. That is so gross and ridiculously sick I have lost any kind of like for the character Maggie. It's truly horrific. If I had started watching TWD now instead of from 2010 I think perhaps I may have been less passionate or loyal. But I was addicted and anxiously watched and waited for each episode to come out. It was unlike anything else on TV at the time. Now with so many seasons available to watch straight through the emotional attachment is different.
