Si Bheag Si Mhor written by Turlough O'Carolan in 1691 and Hector the Hero written by James Scott Skinner in 1903. Guitar: Lowden F25 currently for sale: www.ebay.co.uk...
Is there any chance that you have the sheet music for purchase? A friend of mine has gotten himself a brand new set of Small Pipes and I have been dying to play Classical Guitar with him and finding music for Scottish music for us to play together has been..........difficult. Hector the Hero especially Loved it and thank you
Thanks Victor. Lowdown F25: The guitar is Red Cedar / Indian Rosewood (25). The "F" shape has a slightly smaller body than the original "O" For me the O25 and F25 are the classic Lowden sound.
I see! I'm seariching for a new "luthier"-guitar and found out about lowden since I play irish trad music I got really inspired by your sound. How come you chose that guitar and where didi you buy it if I may ask?
I bought it from guitarguitar in Epsom. I liked the balance sound across the range and the high overtones I normally associate with spruce guitars. If you're into that sound check out the Irish guitars made by Dermot Mcilroy.

Thanks for watching! No it's is the F25 - Red Cedar / Rosewood.
Marvellously well played!
What kind of woods are there in your Lowden? And is the "25-series" the same as the "original" series? Thanks
Thanks Victor.
