You’re still one of the biggest enthusiasts in this WBody community. One day at a time. You’re not old. Get your health in order the best you’re able to and we’ll all be waiting and cheering you on. I’m looking forward to your E85 video for sure. Keep the cameras rolling.

Most folks have no understanding of what it's like as a YT content creator and the thought processes we all go through doing this. Transparency is always good IMO. I hope the doctors find the right medications to ease your symptoms. Your channel inspires more people than you realize. 🤙🏻

Hey Buddy Glad to see you are still hanging in there! I remember when you only had a few hundred subs and now you are at 12k. Way to go! I tried to go balls to wall making videos and I had a child and my focus and priorities changed. I am still monitoring my channel and its hard to keep up making videos when you have to outdo your last one so I am going to make them here and there when time permits. Your subs will understand, I know I do. Good luck with your health. I hope you get better and perhaps, its up to you how much you want to share, maybe see if there is an audience for your condition and maybe able to share with you what helped them. Again, good luck and all the best! Keep those GTP's on the road and out of the junk yards!

That sucks man! Your ZZP radiator install video actually just popped up in my feed, I didn't search for it. The algorithm knows I've been watching a lot of 3800 content so I can learn about my new 07 GT. Also, there's been a lot of people that sink their whole life savings trying to start a youtube videos and just can't organically grow. There could be other issues with your drop in viewership and just could be that many 3800 owners have moved on to other cars.

Always enjoy your videos. Sorry to hear about your health issues. I have gout. Biggest thing is diet, which I'm not be best at but have gotten better at. Diet effects our body in unimaginable ways. But even if you are in great shape you can't dodge genes!
You have a wonderful knowledge of cars. Have you ever thought about doing more generalized videos? Things like "buy this and not that" and go over reasons why. Recommend reliable used cars. Do a video with "what would I buy if I HAD to replace my 3800", etc.
Best of luck and I'll continue watchng whenever you put out new videos!

Salem, you have our support, and will continue to have it.
As far as your age is concerned, you are relatively young-- people twice your age have no issues with mobility or arthritic symptoms.
What we do suggest is your advancing arthritis has a cause, and that cause is probably not your genes-- at least, not directly.
Yes, certain genetic traits make you more susceptible, but do not actually cause problems until triggered by something else. Proof of that is you lived without significant problems, and with that same set of genes, until now.
You may have heard of various diets for healing. What we hope you will do is adopt the only diet known to minimize arthritic and other suspected auto-immune reactions. That diet is based entirely on plant-based food, preferably in whole form-- ie. apples, instead of apple juice, whole grains like oatmeal and barley, and all the green, leafy vegetables you can eat. You not only will lose weight relentlessly, but your heart health (blood pressure and blood lipids) will improve, too. The same diet lowers risk of cancer.
The only requirement is to make sure you take vitamin B12 regularly, by oral supplement, about 1000 mcg (micrograms) daily. The same need for B12 applies to everybody else, too.,.
Above all, get more sleep-- 7-9 hours nightly is ideal for the body to repair itself, and fight off disease. Sleep builds your immune system in a healthy way, and your inflammatory reactions will gradually lessen.
As you know by now, the body reacts to prior injuries and inflammations to become ever more sensitive and painful. The proper diet "defuses" that process, and stops progressively worse immune reaction. Over months, you will notice a lessening of pain levels, and increased ability to handle stressful movements.
If you want to know more, search for a website named "nutrition facts", run by Michael Greger, MD..Dr. Greger publishes on UA-cam, like you.

I understand 100% bro. The YT algorithm can wipe you completely out. I uploaded one short and it knocked my numbers down 70%. It took 4 or 5 months for them to recover.
Praying for your health, take care of yourself 😎

Bud, everyone needs to take breaks as necessary and just deal with regular life. The shutdown temporarily increased how much we all produce/watch videos, but now that things are more normalized with time requirements, it's back to either using it as a creative outlet or going all-in on content creation as a true full-time job. Automotive content is the most expensive version of YT, and well-funded crews who can constantly feed the beast with new stuff and such will have a huge leg-up. I've noticed 3800/daily driver content tends to have a hard ceiling of a couple hundred views no matter who puts it out, aside from rare ones interesting or universal enough to trend a bit more, so manage your expectations there.

I've noticed alot of the 3800 channels dont word there titles properly or have interesting enough thumbnails for people to click on them which is why views are not as high compared to others.

@@gaspoweredgarage Probably true. I think you really have to get into the UA-camr game to attack it from all angles, but I decided not to pursue that because it makes it less about enjoying the hobby.
