Could you do a video about the Grand Prix rocker panels.... what they are supposed to look like before they rot. I happen to be rebuilding my 2000 Grand Prix GTP.. and I have to fix mine
I had a 17 Cruze with that manual. I believe it is an F40. Loved that transmission so much. Got rid of the Cruze to get a car I didn’t have to make a payment on but I wish I hadn’t. The car drove amazing. Damn near wanted to put it in my Fiero. But settled on the F23.
I had a 16 cruze I bought with 3 miles on it. Was a great little car for what it was. Ecotec is decent for power and for what it was, it handled really well. Mine was unfortunately the auto because my gf couldn't drive a stick.
My dad's got a '12 base cruze. was planning on trading or selling it when he hands it down for a 99 GTP like yours, just a sedan maybe. Pontiacs have been a constant in my family since they got here in the turn of the 20th century. Great grandad loved working for them, bought a Bonneville for the family and got my grandad a grand prix for his first car. Pontiac allowed my great grandad to have a stable job once his time in the Marine Corps was up in the mid twenties and then through to the 60's.
You have a video from a long time ago talking about running 1 belt with the 1 inch offset pulley. I was wondering how it held up and if you would recommend it
Glad your okay man sorry to hear the Malibu is gone but glad she kept you safe 🙏 your channel is my go to and got me into playing around with my grandprix and has helped me more times then i can count replacing parts (coupler in my supercharger) lol that was a fun time, got a question for you though, ive been looking for a decent set of aftermarket rims that'll look good and wont completely break the bank for my car, ive been looking for about 3 months and cant decide, your the grandprix god father in my opinion and i wouldn't mind your input, my cars an 05 gtp in stealth grey
Glad you're alright! The new car is interesting and looks like it will be both useful and fun!
Manager sports one daily makes me crZy happy 2 see 1ne

What happened to your Malibu? Why did you sell it?
Wreck, sadly...in the video.
@@elmarko9051 He hasn’t had that Malibu that long
Did you end up selling your 2001 Regal?
Its going bac to the original owner
@@SalemDoyle wasn’t that your mother’s car?
Glad you're OK from the accident and the Cruze looks good and especially since it is a 6 speed. Aren't those engines problematic?
They are known for a few issues but nothing unmanageable
Nice Cruze man!! Ya know you do need a new project car. Also throw away the Honda and get a Vibe!

Nice, a six speed manual!
How are those reliability wise?
That engine bay looks cavernous!
What's the best octane to run in a 3800 SIII NA with only mods of a K&N and cat delete? Thanks
Regular will work fine. Only need higher octain if boosted
@@SalemDoyle will higher octane provide more power and not hurt ol bulletproof?
@MrSkoups it won't make more power, but it won't hurt anything.
Hey man im working on an 05 3.8 grand prix and was wondering if you know where to find a front sway bar cause it was discontinued by gm
I think zzp has them still
Good deal man
Glad you are okay! RIP Malibu.
Malibu well served 🫱🏾🫲🏿
