Just bought and returned another by msxttly hoping it would cure a prob in my peugeot. Whenever I ask SIRI to play my fav station Boom Radio or any not from BBC, she replies, Starting BBC Sounds and then cant play it! The new dongle only did the same so I gave up!
I dont need a wireless adapter I need Android auto to work! Cant get maps says navigation system not installed and its past 3 buisness days im not buying a subscription 2022 camry! Im pissed

Watched several of your car play wireless adapters . Which would you say was most reliable and easiest to use?
Depends if you are looking for just the wireless adapter or the ai box adapter with the built in android system. Just the wireless adapters I find they all seem to do the job. The ai box ones so far the best I’ve tried is the carlinkit. I have another to test soon that’s got a hdmi output for rear screens
@@SpyderLEE cheers Lee, just fed up plugging in really. I haven’t looked at the AI things are they a better bet ?
@@hughdrummond6843 for me I prefer the dongles like these as I like CarPlay and the only thing I care about is making it wireless to my car. But if you want extra stuff like UA-cam/Netflix etc and any other wonderful apps from the play store then the ai boxes are for you.

Can these be used through an android auto/carplay head unit's usb or are they just for use through the in-car system? For example, I have a Kenwood DMX 5020 DABS in my T5, would these work on that?
As long as it’s got wired CarPlay/android auto should work fine. I’ve tried these before in various systems and they make wired CarPlay wireless.
The android auto one doesn’t work on a CarPlay only system though. I tried it in my Tuscan and it’s didn’t do anything
@@SpyderLEE Cheers for that, it does have wired AA, I'm an Android guy! I noticed that there wasn't a link for the AA version and a search on Amazon comes up blank, so no option to use your (affiliate?) link.
Interesting gadget and far more practical than wired setup. As soon as I upgrade my old Insignia I will be investing in one of these for sure. One question I do have is are these dongles able to connect to two diff phones as my wife likes to use her spotify on local runs? I assume you cant connect both at same time. Cheers 👍
Can only connect one at a time but you’ll definitely be able to save the dongle to more than one phone. Not sure which it will connect to if you are both in the car though 😂
