I appreciate your efforts here. I've been using the downloaded desktop app for about three weeks. I've generated a lot of interesting stuff, but no single track I've gotten out of this platform has been of sufficient quality that I could deem it "ready to go" and add it to any of my videos yet. I find that the compositions have a certain "sameness" regardless of the presets chosen or the influence used as a basis. In short, if you have even mildly high standards for the music you use in your videos, you are definitely going to have to open the hood and manipulate whatever this platform gives you to get the track suitable for use. It's going to take time, probably more than most casual users will want to invest. I'm only now just beginning to experiment with downloading the individual layers and instruments and then just combining and rearranging them in a SEPARATE editing app that is less labor-intensive, a process I really should be able to do WITHIN this app especially at the $49 monthly subscription level I am currently trying out. The way AI is trending right now, this app could wind up being passe before the end of the year. SOMEBODY is going to come up with a super-simple way of uploading John Williams' entire discography and getting back a piece of music indistinguishable from a Williams piece to the untrained ear. That's going to be the program that dominates this field, because that's what we're all looking for at the end of the day.

Thank you "findaisolutions" for your time here. There are WAY too many questions about this software and how it can be used by a composer. I write melodies and lyrics. I want to switch on my Roland Fantom 7, start up my Pro Tools, and write a simple melody and then export that melody to an AI software that will give me ideas (or maybe even complete the arrangement) offering different instrumentation and/or arrangement. Is there anything out there that will do that without sounding like the earliest Magnus organ sounds?! I thought AI had advanced further than this "AIVA" seems to have arrived at.

It is quite good but results are bit cold without feeling. Midi download is plus

your influence has not fully DL. Look at the blue circle

I find the algorithm is generally presented in a fairly rigid format. Introduction, next the central theme is stated (usually based on a customary circle of 5ths), then either a fade to silence or perhaps a meandering middle part (usually an understated theme) then a twice or more repeated increasingly raucous ending, gaining in volume, power of and/or complexity of instrumentation to a fade out. Nice, but not particularly creative, giving way to anything actually novel?

I have spent about 20 hours on the free version of the desktop of aiva and have yet to get a single track to download. Their tutorials are horrible as well. This software has a ton of potential, but not easy to work with.
But, if you aren't a producer, it is another solution i guess.
Still on the fence on whether i should sign up for $50 a month. More playing around....

@@dudedude6690 I do agree with the "if it was easy, everyone would be doing it" remark. I decided to use another AI service, but now spending hours and hours learning FL Studio for the changes and mixing. Massive learning curve. But, it will pay off :)

A DW is something that is undetected by human ear.
Ive only heard it on forums like reddit and others.
Dont forget this was years ago regarding samples. So tech has come a long way.
They must all have a system to detect their AI songs or its the biggest bluff out there 🤣

Can AIVA generate vocal audio tracks?

      I don't believe so.

No, it may add a "La La La La" female voice layer to certain tracks it creates, but I can't for the life of me figure out how it decides when to do so and when not

@@JT-dw6lg can you upload your own beats? Would love to generate some melodies for some beats I found

    • @JT-dw6lg
      @JT-dw6lg Рік тому

@@eswag153 Not really. I mean, you can upload them and use them as an "influence", but you can't combine them as they are with AIVA-generated melodies. Not WITHIN AIVA, anyway. The workaround would be: create melody with AIVA, modify BPM of the melody to match one of your beat tracks, output the AIVA melody to a file, then combine it with your beat in some other audio mixing app. You'd have to go through all that just to find out if AIVA's melody and your beat even work together! Yeah, being able to import your own stuff and integrate it with AI elements WITHIN the AI tool itself seems like the next logical step for an app in this space.

@@JT-dw6lg that sucks. Seems like a super useful feature and would be game changing. Do you know if there is a way for it to generate a melody more often?
