As you say, it's all about the little things and owner's preference. For me, having owned a '69 coupe as my first car as a teen, got to be a 4-speed. Overall, absolutely love the car.
Back in the day before I bought my 442 I test drove a 68 Mustang with a 428 cobra jet motor. It was flat fast.
AWSOME MAN AND I HAVE A VERY CLOSE FRIEND THAT RESTORED A 1969 MACH 1 WITH THE 428 COBRA JET SUPER DRAG PACK CAR WITH 430 GEARS AND HE RESTORED IT AS EXACTLY TOO ORIGINAL AS POSSIBLE HE EVEN DID THE PAINT WITH ORIGINAL ORANGE PEAL AND THE CAR IS FOR SALE AND HE IS ASKING A 125 GRAND AND IF I HAD THE MONEY I WOULD BUY IT IN A SECOND AND IT'S A BEAUTIFUL CAR.
