I just want to thank you Doctor, I recently had a lower back muscle spasm/strain from slightly twisting as I was bent down doing some house chores. The first couple days I couldn't even stand straight up and was shifted to the right. After finally being able to stand straight and normal, my lower back just felt super sore and tight. No matter how many times I painfully stretched by reaching for my toes, the soreness and pain would return within minutes. YOUR stretches in this video gave me instant relief and no pain or soreness either! I really appreciate your help doctor.
3:44 This stretch is so easy and effective. I've tried a floor-based QL stretch before and it's never really hit the spot. I nearly always wake up with tightness down my left side because of how I sleep, and this stretch really targets the sore area. 5:00 And this one's really good as well! Thanks again, Dr. Rowe!

Thank you so much for this. I'm what I consider a fit 52-year-old woman, but I twisted the wrong way last night and my back is really feeling it. These exercises (and my heating pad) feel great. I will continue to do them daily.
Last March or so I helped a relative move some furniture a day later I started getting a pain on the lower left side of my back this pain grew till I was laid up in bed all week barely able to move my own body without my wife's help, the only cure I had was staying in bed and a daily message concentrated around the area with pain relieving ointment but I was still bed bound. This has happened once every month and lasts about a week today I started getting my usual pains on my lower left side telling me It was gonna be "bed week" so I watched his video and did the first 2 stretches in full as directed and I feel great!!! Thank you very very much this has helped me so much it is very frustrating being trapped in bed and barely able to turn or walk and now I'm just glad there's something simple I can do to relieve my pain and make it go away pretty much instantly thank you :)
There have been times my back hurt so bad I couldn't move and breathe at the same time. It doesn't hurt like that anymore. Stretching everyday keeps it much more tolerable. Thank you. I really appreciate it.

I’m only 18 and have insane back pain from squatting at the gym even though my form feels perfect (I’ve stopped doing them). Anyway that stretch against the wall, and making sure to keep upright, provided me with instant relief so thank you so much.

You’ve absolutely gotta get the proper form and even equip yourself with a belt I love squatting but… I only do it right.. with support & proper technique You may need to film yourself and use super light weights until it’s verified that your form is good A personal trainer or watching MULTIPLE videos on form can help a lot
Hi doctor i’m 18 years old and i suddenly have the most intense lower back pain ever. At some point i can’t even move without intense pain, something like this has never happened to me before and i don’t recall any i juries that could’ve led to it. I’m scared it’s been a couple of days now i’m hoping to feel better in a week or two weeks time. I can’t even sit down or put my back straight it’s horrible. This is great stuff. Injured my back doing my warmup sets on deadlifts, I believe I just pulled the muscle but either way it hurts like hell and is super stiff. These exercises helped relieve the stiffness a week after the injury, so thank you very much. You don't mention very much on what to do with your core or breathing during these stretches though. Any suggestions?

I've had constant stiffness and pain in my lower back for quite a while now so i decided to check out a few videos. I came across this video and after doing several of the stretches i noticed an easing of the stiffness and reduction in pain which has really helped me out. Thank you for making these videos, i'm sure there are plenty of people who could use these. Great video 👍
Legit do all these stretches and ones from his other videos everyday. Helps a lot with keeping spasms at bay and alleviating stiffness. Foam rolling too.
All praise and glory be to Allah and may God have mercy on your soul. I was suffering from a lumbar strain. However after following these stretches, my pain has vanished by almost 50%.

My physical therapist had me do the first movement (slightly differently since she was holding my legs and her assistant was pulling my arm over to the opposite side), so I went looking for it just now to see if I could find a name for it. @@DrRowe doc the second one when i return to one side, fixed me in 2nd or 3rd iteration right away! amazing. i had low back pain few inches above my hip. it was both muscles and also hip, i think it gold sore from cold. when i did that 2nd one it was fixed. thank you.
I really love your videos, i try them often during my physiotherapy sessions u see at the age of 16 i suffered severe disc bulge of the L4 and L5 disc which led to nerve compression on my lower back and i was bent at a 45° angle people laughed at me and thought that i was a loser. I went through a surgery when i was just 16 called microdiscectomy and now i am well and good now my age is 22 and sometimes i feel bad pain on my lower back any recommendations ? Ps. My doctor after looking at my recent MRI SCAN said my discs are dehydrating please help what should i do i have no clue

I wouldn't try any exercise until you have the movement (and comfort level) to do so. Please give us an update soon!
my back pain started 4 weeks ago and now its getting better. I tried to do the stretches you shoed in your video , but I felt dizzy when I did the one at the wall. I wonder what would be the reason for this? any thoughts from you please?
