Omega is one of the best people to sell a promo he can sell anything to me lol
It's interesting. I think this could be the start of a full on heel turn. Which would be great, Kenny is better as a heel anyway. This might be a blessing in disguise, to build up this match and rivalry more and give it to the fans when the hype is at its peak.

@@rebe_muna Yeah, but I believe they should keep Mox babyface at first, both because he can play babyface well too, as long as he's still this somewhat deranged badass and not the wacky guy from WWE, and because he's shock debut was still the greatest moment of AEW so far and they need to capitalize on this first "superstar" that made the jump. He's popular, he's over and american fans who do not follow NJPW still haven't seen the full extent of what he can do outside WWE.

This will end up being one of the best things to ever happen to AEW. I'm sure they were looking forward to the match last night but what they got instead was still a great match last night and now a beautiful set up for a lengthy feud between two or their top guys without having to put a belt on them yet. Kenny just spit out the best promo of his entire career at a very crucial time in AEW's development because of this injury. It's like AEW can't make a wrong move right now. Even unfortunate injuries are turning up smelling like roses for them.

So you know that thing people are going crazy about. You know AEW not having traditional heels and faces. Omega wouldn't be cutting a promo like this if they did. When they finally fight. Omega will play the heel in this match. That's why this works this way opposed to the old way
Omega is totally justified here, but he presents it in a heelish way. Yes, Mox was irresponsible, but his injury was also out of his control. This allows both wrestlers to have their own supporters, while also giving reasons to be against the opponent. This is pretty much #TeamCaptainAmerica vs #TeamIronMan, and it’s BRILLIANT.
@@rodanhibiki5980 you're absolutely correct. In a traditional Babyface role, Omega would have wished him a recovery and say something like he looks to their match. But here in the non traditional sense, he comes off insensitive and says he can care less if he sees him again. That's why this new mentality of non traditional heels and faces works so well in AEW
