Not only Darkthrone, I'm hearing a lot of thrashy Aura Noir, Dodheimsgard (Monumental Possession), Carpathian Forest influence as well. Solid release, no less. And my kind of black thrash attack (pun intended). 🤘
Sounds like the best era of Darkthrone, just faster. As for Darkthrone, their latest releases have slowed down quite a bit. So would rather listen to this or older Darkthrone.
The musicianship is there with newer Darkthrone, they just seem to be stuck in a safe formulaic groove with the 80s Celtic Frost style worship. It's worth recognition but not repeated listens imo. My disappointment lies in thinking they would eventually return to their older styles.
@@SharkxBait93 Old Star and Eternal Hails were good, but most of the rest is fairly forgettable 80s worship imo. The last album I truly enjoyed was Dark Thrones and Black Flags. Then again, I still repeatedly listen to Total Death and Ravishing Grimness lol
No CD version for sale at Amor.
punky darkthrone style, what else can someone ask? 🔥🔥🔥
Vaya sorpresas que me dieron las recomendaciones de UA-cam! Qué maravilloso y pulento álbum, ctm.
Raw Black Metal! 🤘

Should have named the release "Arnaut Pavle"
Why? They already did with their first album.
@@OGbrundle it would be pretty funny because their other releases are also self titled
PHENOMENAL.... so OLD & so FRESH!!! One of the best old-school Black Metal projects heard recently, DARKTHRONE to retire - long live ARNAUT PAVLE🤘🤘

and they're hundred times better darkthrone than the last 7-8 darkthrone albums
@@SpectralNebulah No they are not lol. Good release, but Darkthrone is and will always be the goat.

Darkthrone is loosing drive & stamina, indeed.... for better or for worse. Bands like Arnaut Pavle are the future🤘
This is way better tbh.
