- The small surf town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica is home to some increbile surfers. I tested a new Fujifilm cameta this evening and was so impressed with both the camera and the surfers, hope you enjoy. Many more of these videos coming, I am hooked!

Yes, for steady, follow video with a long lens people use a "fluid" tripod head which dampens movement. Haven't used one myself though!
I like this tripod, it’s the Peak Design one, but honestly it’s not the best for this type of shooting. Even when I was trying to capture the moon it had its limitations.
I would get it locked on and let go and it would just start to slowly fade in a random direction.

What lens were you using for the surf videos?
Hey mate looking at upgrading from an xt3 to a xh2s. When filming surfing and panning do you notice skipping from the ibis and do you disable lens stabilisation? Just wondering if they have ironed out this issue as I need to do all filming with no stabilisation on the xt3z
Hi mate, What autofocus settings do you use when shooting stills?
Hey Dean! For surfing I use the #2 setting, the one with the leopard photo. I find this one works best. It’s supposed to lock on and track and not be bothered by other objects. I find sometimes the focus will wander off and follow a wave, but this one works best. And obviously continuous AF.
