Oh man that sucks. I had the same problem over here in Southern California. Rain and it's been cold and Windy. Which is really weird because its never this cold in the month of May in California.
@@126BIGBO sorry to hear bro,yeah 1night out the blue..just went down hill. the surviving youngsters clever now,they go back into ther nest boxes..i guess the rest was like oldest 2weeks fledged,so they probably perched low
@@Azam_Pakistan The trick is to give your bird a lot of Calcium such as Calcium from Chicken Eggs. It takes Calcium to make an egg so just give the bird more Calcium and she will lay more eggs than she suppose to.
@@Azam_Pakistan No because they like Chicken Eggs better than the Cuttle bone. Make sure you clean the slimy stuff from inside of the egg shells before you give it to yout birds or they will get sick. They don't like wet eggs shells. You have to dry them out. Place them in the microwave to dry out faster. Also if you boil the eggs then you don't need to clean it out, just dry them out first

😆😆 Its kind of like a tradition when you have an Aviary. They make the Aviary look good and the noise they make is very pleasant. They eat all bugs and eat empty Seed shells on the ground. They are just pretty coo quails
I got them from the pet shop and I think thy are maybe one year old. And I have them indoors, and a normal medium cage. The nest is on the outside. Thy actually don’t have flying space, the cage is square. So do you think that is maybe the problem. As I see the female, looks as if she is molting on her head, I see white stems of feathers . I think that is how it looks when thy change feathers....I actually want to show the photo to the man at the pet shop. Thy are extremely expensive birds here. Would like more , but thought that if thy hav a few babies then this hat would be great. As thy such beautiful birds....
@@izabeau1953 once your females Beak is black then she is ready to mate. Also I believe if you give them a flight cage rather than height is better for them. Also you want to keep them some where, that does not have too much traffic passing by them

You are right, I must get a flight cage, I found my other birds has done so much better in a flight cage. Been asking my husband to build me a big cage , but he is to old not to do projects. Perhaps more than two females are laying eggs in a single nest. How many of the 12 in a box hatch?
It's only one female not 2 and out of this clutch 8 eggs hatched
