1.Draw a "x" Cm line according to the root number.(A, B)
2.Draw forward the line B-C.
3.Take a centre point from AC line. (O)
4.Take compass and take radius (OC), Draw a semicircle C to A.
5. Make a 90 degree angle in point B.
6.intersect point is D
7.take B as centre and take radius BD and intersect with number line which will give E point.
8.E is the root number.

Sir I have a question. By which method should we solve these type of sums in the exam? By using spiral method or pythagoras theorm?

21.33 in exercise 1.2 question no 5 also states us to represent an √5 on number line in Different way.whereas here we have been represent √6,√7,√8 in other different way . So ,can we represent √7,√7,√8 as √5 as u teached in 1.2 exercise...
