Ap origin same rakhiye. First draw root 3, then to draw root 5 forget about what u drew for root 3 and just keep origin same and keep drawing . One more method is "spiral method", I have discussed it too in my channel

Maine unit 2 se perpendicular le liya aur usase mughe unit 2 =root 4 hogya aur perpendicular root 1 ka ho gya then root 5 is ready after that root 5 ki madat se root 7 bana diya
first of all select a suitable scale and indicate root 3.5 on number line. In the process, you mark (or get) a point called origin or zero of number line, from where you mark 1,2,3... so on. Now after this, use spiral method to indicate root 7 on number line. Note, If you keep origin (zero point) same for both root 3.5 and root 7 then the diagram will be correct.
