I am planning a work trip at the Grand Hyatt BAHA MAR in a few weeks and have been watching a lot of reviews videos. You covered everything I wanted to know!! Thank You!!! The Grocery Store footage was something I hadn’t seen in the other videos and I really appreciate that you covered it!! ⭐️👍🎉⭐️😁
Thanks! We used Sandra’s Transportation, simple to set it up and fair prices. We received the free daily breakfast through having Globalist status in the World of Hyatt loyalty program (since Baha Mar is Grand Hyatt)
@@xsquishh thank you my husband did find transportation . Gotcha! I am only discoverist right now, but good to know. We have the hyatt credit card and were able to get 2 nights free on points... :) I am really loving having the card. We leave not week! We are excited! Thanks for all the recommendations..
Great Detailed video bro! Just a couple of questions, do you recommend making reservations ahead of time for dinner every day? Or just do a walk in? Do they also have any other live band bar besides the jazz bar? Regarding the jet ski rental, are they from the resort or from the locals ? And how much is it if you know? Thanks again
Thanks! I would recommend booking reservations for all the restaurants you want to try in advance, since the slots fill up the closer you get to the date. Walk-in is still viable though if you can’t get a reservation, just have to take your chances. The only live music we saw was at the Jazz Bar, but there is a night club that we didn’t go to that you may want to look into. The jet ski rental was $75/half an hour, and they said it was all brand new equipment. They weren’t Baha Mar branded so I’ll assume they were locals.
Thanks! Each meal cost about $30-$50 per person, depending on if you are eating at a food truck or a higher end restaurant, etc. You can check out all the menus with pricing on the official Baha Mar website to get an idea and plan ahead. Tax is also high in the Bahamas, so keep that (and gratuity) in mind as well.
@@xsquishh thank you! As for tipping, are you able to add it on the receipt or did you tip in cash? If you tipped in cash what type of currency did you use?
@@colleencirocco everything is billed to your room number, and you review your expenses at the time of checkout and pay it off then. Could be a great opportunity to open a travel credit card with a minimum spend requirement and use it on this trip!
It was complimentary since we booked our reservation with Globalist status. We did have to ask if they had any suite upgrades at the front desk though to kick start the discussion, but I know sometimes they may offer you an upgrade right off the bat. Never hurts to ask nicely!
We did PCR because rapid was not a valid option at the time... but the regulations may change over time, so make sure to check the relevant websites for up to date info (i.e. Bahamas travel, TSA, etc.)
We went in August, but I’d suggest looking up the off season months so it may be cheaper, but more importantly, less people. Less waiting in line and less crowded
@@melvinmccoy72 do some research online to see what the temperatures are usually like that time of year. You’ll be walking around the water park outdoors a lot, so keep that in mind
I'm going may of 22,I will not go if masks are required on property including casino, lobby and other areas. I can't see spending money on clothing for the trip and not having a mask to match each outfit. It's ridiculous wearing a mask gambling, drinking, eating and hanging out in the lobby. No way ,I'll cancel the trip!
Horrible... at Baha Mar now. Unable to find a chair at any of the pools or beach. Restaurants over capacity, making finding an extremely overpriced meal very difficult. Water park over run by cruise ships . You'd think for the price they'd have enough space... nope! Go somewhere else!
Very informative, fun and immersive way of showcasing the Baha Mar resort. Much thanks for sharing!

Thank you so much! I wasn't sure about the resort, but now I'm all in. Excellent video.
I love how realistic your approach is to filming. Thank you for sharing realistic expectations.
Thanks for the video!! Will be going in March, looking forward to it, minus the 2 high water slides!
Im going in May to baha mar and have watched several videos on it but this video was easily the best one! Felt like i was there..cant wait!
That means so much to me! Thank you! Have an amazing time and soak it all in…
Thanks for the video! I'm planning to go soon and was curious about the water park! Thanks for the POV of those!
