Absolutely love my new ‪@Rhino-Rack‬ Reconn Platform on my brand new 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser 250!
It didn’t take me long (less than a month of ownership) to upgrade to a more low-profile, and full roof platform on the rig. Yes, it’s lower than the OEM Platform.
After having this on for 1000 miles, I noticed no negative effect on the MPG and no wind-noise.
Unlike other full roof platforms, I was surprised how much clearance I still have in between the actual platform and the bare roof. That being said, I can still easily clean/wipe down the roof at times it gets unbearably dirty.
Lastly, Rhino-Rack has awesome accessories that are compatible with this roof setup- from simply just basic eyebolts, to lighting, recovery boards, awning, roof tents, and more! The list never ends!
Overall, this is definitely worth the upgrade! I get so many compliments on the setup when I go to my local cars&coffee (or in this case, rigs&coffee), as well as simply just going to my local gym.
