I appreciate you highlighting some uses of magazines Helen. I have several and I could use more ideas on how to incorporate them into my pieces. Love this idea of DIY washi. There are such pretty backgrounds in magazines if you're keeping your eye out for them. Can't wait to get started. Thank you!
Brilliant idea... Thanks! I Was going to make some "washy tape' mini writing boards (to insert into future finished journals), to then either laminate or coat with modge podge etc to seal. This will definately save money too on buying more expensive, extra new 'washy tape' too! 😊❤ AMAZING tip... Thank you x
Hi, thanks for another great idea. Since I'm new at paper crafts, buying stuff gets so expensive. I find myself pouting because I have no washi, lol, so now I will definitely try to make my own.🤣
I think that as well as using magazines you can use napkin to cover the tape then stamp / draw / spatter paint over it. This gives a more matte effect. Just another idea for your washi making session!
Hi Helen: I love all your magazine projects! These would look great in any journal. The forever retro tag is so cool. Have made small tags with real Washi, but this looks like more fun.Thank you for sharing your ideas. 💜😎🇺🇸
I love your ideas. I love making something from materials that would otherwise but tossed. You see the potential in everything & it's why I enjoy your channel immensely 😊
Love the washi tape idea. I use magazines for all kinds of things. I cut out images I cut out blocks of color and store them by their colors I cut out words and now I'm going to use a magazine for my glue book. I got the idea from Janet Nash
Ahha! This answers my issues with trying this method! I have cutting issues lol. Using the tape as the guide is brilliant! 💥💥💥 ps: Your tags were so good! 🌹

Thank you Sandi! I seem to be on a pretty big magazine kick at the minute. I do love working with them.

Sorry for the delay in responding. I've been away from my desk over the summer and just got back. The tape is half an inch wide. I hope that helps!

This is great Helen! I made some using DS tape and tiny scraps after watching a video by Cute Nique - ua-cam.com/video/QUCLbwpl9Hs/v-deo.html
