I have the same problem with the pedals on the berms as you were showing. I think LK could fix this though. Just need more people talking about the offroad issue. Thanks for the video!
Yooo thanks for the shoutout big man!
@@gabinator1177 my pleasure !!!
can't wait to get my first wheel. I get what you were saying about the smart bms concerns but I don't think it's that big of an issue. the begode falcon is otherwise the perfect first wheel for me that should hopefully last me a long time, unless I can find a good deal on a begode extreme because that is the only other wheel I will consider. I don't want to pay $4,200 for a new begode extreme. too much. I met Gabe when I went to their store for an EUC lesson recently. I picked it up very quickly, so they said! they seem like nice people there at eevee's.
Hey Adam, hope you're ok? a good ride on a wheel does do wonders for making you feel better! Love all your videos .
I love your humor, it's the main reason I follow you on YT. Dampening adjustment would have given you a better experience.
Your comment made my day!!! Actually I’m thinking about opening a second channel where I just joke about stuff! What do you think? :D
@@mr_wrongwayYes, go for it. Humor is universal and more refine than those ladies getting millions of views just for cleaning à window lightly dressed.
@@kayakeux thx! Never heard of these ladies!
@@mr_wrongwaydo it! I will follow too 🤣
I would love to see you ride a master 4 with a good suspension setup! I BET you'll love it for big jumps! Especially now that we have fixed the pedal dip back on lines and landings
Nice that u put this lynx "issue" up. Hope Leaperkim make update so you can dissable that lean or if u like it, leave it on.
you can in the settings.. the dip in turns is a bad calibration..
It's nice that poland has so many ebike approved areas. Here in Ontario Canada ebikes are forbidden on so many trails even though studies show they don't do any more damage than regular bikes.
Very cool the see how much begode improved.... I am looking forward for the blitz because your will probably review it because it has a smart BMS.
Yes I will! In fact it should be sent to me tomorrow!
La begode Extrême est vraiment une roue géniale en offroad et en jump 👍
Would have liked to see the V14 in this comparison
Me too!
Makes sense!
@@mr_wrongway Would also love to see the Commander Mini, the Master V4 and the Blitz with offroad tyre!
Blitz is low torque. Mini has not as good low torque. Extreme, Patton and V14 really are the ones that I care to see. Lynx is fun but less nimble relative to these three
Me too
Thanks for the hournest comparision, I also feel more tired after trail rides with the Lynx much more than the V11Y (yes, V11Y with Michellin street tire can do trails !) Extreme on the way...
I don’t know if you care at all but it looks like you installed your rear light upside down. The turn signals are opposite from the direction you’re leaning. Not like anybody is relying on those turn signals to see where you go anyways but just something I noticed. Great video!!
@@glassworth yes agreed! I noticed it but just left it until next disassembly ;) thanks!
Some Lynx riders have been discussing on the electric unicycle forum about the Pedal Hardness and Acceleration Assist. I think the pedal dipping you're having trouble with might be mostly attributable to Acceleration Assist, as it's what makes your pedals dip down when accelerating and rise up when braking. You had it set to 50% when you showed this phenomenon. At 100% the dipping and rising is even greater, but at 0% it should be minimized, if not eliminated altogether (I don't have the wheel so I can't confirm).
It sounds like you might want maximum pedal hardness (minimizes those quick dips in response to bumps like roots or curbs or landings), and 0% Acceleration Assist. I'm curious if those settings will improve your experience on the Lynx.
I’ll try a bit more. The dipping has been an issue since ages on veteran wheels. And mine had it without the acceleration assist feature. I’ll dig into the new software though
POWERKNOBZ FTW
I want to buy one, rode one yesterday and I’m hooked. Guess saving money isn’t for me.
Love this trail. :) Imagine my pain doing these bridges on ShermanS on timed laps. 😄
It had to be PAIN! But then again you’re a beast!
@@mr_wrongway *blushing in wrong way* 😂😂
@@nativeme2143 you da real MVP!
The lynx didn't cut it for me in north Carolina on tight trails. On open trails it's great. I plan to buy an extreme or v14 from ewheels for next yr. Surprisingly my inmotion v8f is great on tight trails and has climbed any hill I've tried. Just be nice to have a suspension
Also my lynx didn't seem to have power for quick take offs up hills. I kept losing my balance
What do you mean loosing your balance? The Lynx is literally not over torqueable below like 50kmh. So lack of power is definitely not the reason
@@lefotografionThere’s a difference between absolute power and responsiveness (ease of access to that power)
which I’m guessing is what he’s talking about
I totally get what you're saying. I need my Lynx to deliver power quicker when I need it in technical sections but it tends to lag or I can't get out of it what I need fast enough
Great video. Greetings from Canada!
I have an in motion v11. It feels like if I turn to hard the hell falls but then self rights once you straighten out. Looks similar.
What about the s22Pro compared to those two!? I have been loving that wheel on trails and jump park :)
While I absolutely love my Patton in my urban street environment, the most recent FW updates, that added the slide bar for foot pedal angle, my seems to, at rest, take it's time getting to my desired pedal angle when the wheel is switched on. I can't tell if this shows up while I ride. My riding is about as non-performance as you can get and still ride an EUC. Out of the box, IIRC, the wheel used to snap to the pedal angle setting.
Adam, didn't you have a V14? I recall you doing a video with all three. Your words on the V14 have been kind but I'm sensing it's an honorable mention but not really able to hang with the Lynx and Extreme. ~maverick
@@EUCme hey! Yes it has less suspension travel but it would be able to do this course. Mine currently makes some noises and something’s happening in the suspension so I need to fix it :/
@@mr_wrongwaydoes it have some rattling when braking on downhills/uneven surfaces? I don't have a solution, just curious if it's the same problem I'm having and if it will be mentioned in an upcoming videos.
I felt the up and down pedal dips too with one of my friend's lynx but my other lynx friends that recalibrated their wheels cured the pedal dipping issue. Have you tried this?
@@YuStudios yes I recalibrate the wheels if there’s dipping behaving differently from left to right. I’ll give it another go but I don’t think it’ll change anything :/
@@mr_wrongway its not calibrated correctly then.. try again..
@@eucmike the rule is the if it tilts differently when turning left or right then it means it’s wrongly calibrated but it doesn’t do that. Nevertheless I’ll check the new firmware and report back
I notice the pedal tilt down during seated riding around 40 MPH
It feels like it might dump me forward
The faster you go and the sharper the turn the more you will dip
@@mr_wrongway Nope. Almost not noticeable. You might need to play more of the settings.
I thought you got rid of the 'fridge on wheels' 🤔
Have ridden the Sherman L? If yes, does it have the same pedal dipping as the Lynx?
@@misubisu fridge is up for sale and waiting for a new owner! I just rode the L very shortly, can say much but I assume it’s the same
I’m 99% sure you were faster on the Lynx though, At least that’s how it looked to me.
I’ve been getting into trail riding with my Lynx & I’m curious about the pad choice differences.
I’m riding with “traditional” style power pads and to me I think I’d still prefer those for the ability to differential torque, one leg back - one leg forward, around turns and the power I can apply for uphill climbing.
It seems to me that on the Lynx, you feets should be like 1-2 cm further forward, especially since you don't use front pads to access the power.
No they’re about the same. I’m very picky about the feet position :) it might be even a slight bit more forward on the extreme
@@mr_wrongway yes more forward on the Extreme, which is why I say you should try 1-2 cm more forward on the Lynx.
@@JonahOnEUC I had it like that before, I’ll see
Hi adam, im about to buy a begode extreme and the seller told me the water resistance wasn't that good especially the mother board case and the motor bearing(?) not sure about the traduction. Im a little confused cause i see everywhere on the internet that i could esealy run it under the rain without any problem. I live in a very rainy town and euc are my main transport vehicules (no car anymore). So this seller is telling me i should buy a patton (for the same price 3k euros) What do you think about it? All your extreme reviews really excited me and now i dont know what to do :/ (oh and doable is faisable in french ;) "fezabl" haha)
Where did you get that cool ramp?
Is there an affiliate code for that! ;)
It’s a dog ramp from a website here in Poland. Any dog ramp should do the trick!
@@mr_wrongway Awesome, I purchased a dog ramp rated for 150lb dogs and it works like a charm. Thanks @mr_wrongway!
How far are we from EUCs becoming a main way of transportation? Like a bike or a bicycle.
A long way to go if u check the laws of each country -.-
Have you tried pedal assist at 0 and 100 with 100 pedal hardness?
I will check out the new firmware. Should’ve done it for this trail :/
my begode extreme has some slack in it like going forward and back, do you know what i need to tighten or replace to fix i can't find many answers on google, i only got it about a month and a half ago and it also only has like 120 miles on it any help would be great lol.
Yes tighten motor bolts :)
On the Begode extreme , these are Cohedron PowerKnobZ not Fusion ;) but still PkZ ! Anyway it’s a Win Win on both sides 🙃🫢
@@BasFrskN316 I always mix up the names 😓 haha true!
@@mr_wrongway don’t worry :p it’s nice to see that you like them 🤟
Do the pedals dance the same when making turns on the street?
Yes but you don’t notice it as much as the turns can be wider and you ride less aggressively. It’s still there and a lot of people don’t even feel it and it comes up as „unstable” or „getting wobbles”
@@mr_wrongwayhave you tried to recalibrate the wheel?
@@mbelozerov of course! I always calibrate other riders wheels too if I feel something’s off
4:02 shit happens when you got so much suspension travel on a 16" wheel, so the pedals are so close to the ground on compression..
Look like the Sherman, stopping peddles go up and then fast accelerating was very hard on the legs to punch them down. Takes long time. Or is old and new different? My master is so fast in this . I am going to race it, hope there will be lynx’s zo compair.
Dude, if the pedals are floating in the turns, just calibrate the gyroscope in two planes! How can you not know that???
conclusion: extreme is more fun 😊
Yes!
ok, gonna ask what nobody did. Have you updated the extreme fw because now it does weird shit with pedals
@@erCostinha i did after this video and a quick calibration fixed it. I’ve set up pedal turning adjustment to 3 and it’s splendid
@@mr_wrongway begode > leaperkim
Which firmware are you using on the extreme? I’m not sure if I’m on the best current firmware version.
It was not the newest one but now I have the newwst one and it’s equally good for me so far. Just needed to calibrate the wheel
Gave up on inmotion already?
@@gritred5500 v14 gave up on me :/ suspension is clonky and I need to disassemble it
My biggest worry with the Lynx is the fact that they have a hardware issue there not addressing, yet going around it with firmware changes. To me the hardware issue should be addressed and fixed, and send out parts to there buyers. Now Maybe I'm wrong and it could simply be fixed in the firmware but typically if it's hardware it's not that simple.
What issue?
@RogueTravel I believe there was a component in the wheel that was causing issues and wierd behaviors and was addressed with a firmware fix, but was dropping rider because of it. I can't remember but it I can find the info I'll share the link
@@sicafpvtinyhandzfpv8834 his wheel is just not calibrated well is all..
Regarding the pedals doing their own shit... Thats what Ive been saying to... Make a complete stiff pedal mode...
Very interesting 👍

hey from Montreal
@@sherazAsghar hey there!
Great Video how to ride EUC.
What’s the link to that ramp do you have?
I don’t have one. Type in dog ramp into google and select something with enough weight capacity for your EUC :)
10:27 - You have taken the shortcut :D You should go further straight.
@@jakubhusak1624 dammit!
@@mr_wrongway Nextime youl' know :D BDW, VSherman OG does very well on this track due to it's agility :) Tight on curves and fast on straights. Feet grip is crucial.
And what do you say about Inmo v14?
Mine is out of commission for now
@@mr_wrongwayhope we'll not see any berm cutouts once it gets there. I'm just doing singltrack berms the slow_way for now. Hope they'll increase the angle one day
I like the leaperkim software more. I like the wheel going down while accelerating it help a lot. Yes, if you have hard brake and than right after you want to accelerate migh feel kind bad, but again this helps for wobbles and acceleration a lot. Also they will add the acceleration assistance and braking like inmotion v13 and you migh be able to disable the lean.
You are talking about something else than what Adam points out in this video..
No it's the same, but in different scenarios.
@@lefotografion No you are talking about acceleration and brake assist or soft mode. Adam talks about how the pedals dip when doing long turns, just like the old Sherman wheels.
@@JonahOnEUC yea I know, but it's the same software algorithm that causes that
10:00 quoi ??? on dit pas ca nous ??? 🤣🤣
On ne dit pas? Ah merde!
Extreme on trails has no match, weight, cog, travel. no wheel is even close to the fun you can get
I have found my Begode Master V1 has started doing a lot of pedal dipping of late. Far more than I have on my Patton. Wish I knew the source because I still enjoy riding the Master but the dipping has gotta go.
Recalibrate the wheel
9:51 doublablé
Oui oui
For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. (2 Corinthians 7:10)
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent: (Acts 17:30)
Religion is garbage. It is no different than drug addiction or alcoholism. It rots your soul.
Begode firmware > the mosfets fry, so they need to make an update. Such begode such quality
lol you’re talking about the issue where someone found that when you do a very specific action (turn the wheel on while bringing the wheel upright) it ended up frying the MOSFETs.
I ended up trying to replicate it on over 100 power cycles on the T4 Pro, Master4 and the Extreme without being able to do so.
There was a bug found in some variations of the firmware in some wheels where it was possible and that was immediately fixed.
Just like InMotion with the v14 where if you went in the air at all, it was tilt severely forwards and make you face plant. Firmware bug.
Veteran where the boards were frying, chargers and charge boards were dying as well as the severe tiltback anytime in the air.
Firmware bugs happen. As long as they’re fixed is all that matters.
You say “they need to make an update”
They did already. Immediately after the reports.
@@eucLogicfirmware number please
@@eucLogic Just got a big one. Yeah all wheels suck, but begode was used to be called gotway, it's better but still the worse of them. You guys just buy it because it's cheap and fast. I get it I have a mten4 it's powerfull for its size and has 750wh, I have no illusions of being a better quality product tho bc it's not.
I saw bent rims, bent speakers, the wheel dying from just being turned off just on the extreme.
on your lynx that wouldn't of happened because it sits higher. The smaller wheels are sketchy cause those pedals are too close too ground.
Dude your making it hard for me to buy the lynx. I think its going to be the extreme
i wish they could make the lynx pedals behave just like the kingsong s22 🥲
Yeeeeeees
