I just got my falcon and I’m liking the ride as I specifically got it for my terrible road conditions which it eats up like a champ, I just wish it gave me 25% more range. But man I love small wheels so I may be obligated to switch out my mten4 and 16S for this iteration. Not preordering it though, I’ll just wait for it to be readily available given the wait time and potential MORE new wheels coming out 🥵 It’s disappointing to see how much people get mad ET Max wobbles but I myself am also a small dude @145lbs, I found even 60lb wheels (V12/T4) too heavy to enjoy. Glad you’re alright after the tumble. Unless Begode’s next beginner/mid-tier offering puts a Master-size rim onto a thin lightweight A2-adjacent body ~1400-1800wh (my ideal capacity for personal range requirements), the falcon is the absolute largest/heaviest wheel I’m keeping in my stable.
You said it. We don't weigh much, and the etmax is honestly too heavy for me to ride like I do my master. You made the right choice with the falcon. It eats up all those bumps and potholes

@@TheBergMan I saw a few EUC buyer's guides, and several 'journey' vlogs where riders document their progress but I've yet to see any comprehensive 'survivor's guide to EUC's' -- this is especially important for up and coming street riders as balancing is one thing, not getting your ass killed by truck-kun is another. Hopefully we see both in your channel :D (buyer's guide and new rider's guide).

Epic video! Well done! The Mten5 looks like a winner. Does it have a more powerful motor? It looks a lot more comfortable than the Mten4. That thing hits your legs at a bad spot when mounting. @@TheBergMan No, Mten5 must be much weaker than the falcon. Compare: the free spin of Mten5 is 71 km/h, that of the Falcon is 67 km/h. And this despite the fact that the voltage mten5 is less than that of the falcon! At the same time, the free spin speed is higher. All this means that the mten5 motor is faster and less torque.
Another enjoyable video. Surprised you are going back to the States next month after saying how great it is living in China in a previous video. Does the mten5 have the same motor as the Falcon. The 20% smaller wheel on the mten should translate to 20% more torque.

I just don't get it. Who is begode targeting now with what was supposed to be their lightweight, small series ? the Mten3 was 11kg. You could put it in a backpack. 2 generations later, you have now a 19kg monster. I live in a 4th floor without elevator. I can't carry these things anymore, and there are no single, good performing small / lightweight models coming out anymore since the stupid addition of suspension (that does little difference for us commuters in big cities..). Regulations and enthusiast have ruined it for the common commuter.
@errrick release should be pretty soon... it's a pretty bare wheel right now. But boy, it'll be roughly 200$ I heard. Strictly for learning and convenience. Just tall enough to be practical

They seem to be cool people. Also, was the ETMax in offroad mode? It looked heavy to accelerate and brake. I remember my EX30 when it was new and had no firmware updates yet, felt heavy and I crashed it 3rd day of owning it, somewhat similar to how you described your crash - wobbled then fell rearward. Felt lighter after race mode. Glad you're good.
It only felt heavy when breaking. Acceleration just needed someone heavier than me... and the etmax was in racing mode the whole time. Hope you recovered well! Haha I'm currently sitting down on my right cheek, only😅

Nice trip! Hay at 17:00 you need to learn to put hard-carves into stopping. To the point where the carve-action has more slowing action than the actual regen-breaking of the motor. Like a hockey skator stop sorta. I do compress the suspension on my stops. Learn it if you're on the road over 30 mph... all wheels will wobble on hard-break w/o that technique! PS: Great wife and life you got there... surely you are blessed and I pray you know or get to know Jesus!
An EUC review vlog mentioned a P50B battery as being 3X more powerful than the 50s for the same size and/or weight. Could you find out from your friends at Begode if it has come up in their discussions?
Hey, since the mten5 is almost as heavy as the a2, do you think its better than the mten4 for portability? its like 13kg vs 19kg, but is the mten5 that much better as far as ride quality and stability? The mten4 is very close to the mten mini in weight so I dont think the mten mini is a good option. Cheers

Been checking the ET Max and GT Pro videos and comments, it seems those are the dream (gt pro+ even better) for stable smooth comfortable ride. Even for light offroading (no jumping) they might destroy everything else. However many models coming, like the Griffin and Commander Max, and so on. It is crazy!
Did you have the ET Max on medium as well? Those pedals looked like they stayed pretty flat when braking. This seems to be going a bit viral, I don’t think it was the fall, I think it is the newly starring character.

I’ve been riding my friend’s V10 for a few months now, and just had my first fall due to clipping a fence lol If you don’t mind me asking, how much do you weigh? I was amazed you got the Mten5 to go 35! I hope you’re healing well. Keep up the great work 😄
I got the mten5 to go 43 at the top speed 😉 and it depends on what you're trying to do and where you're trying to ride. The mten5 will be more convenient for actual commuting and errand running. But the falcon also COULD do this... but it really shines on offroading conditions or hopping up and down curbs, really just joy riding of any sort. But taking the falcon out vs the mten5 takes a bit more effort. (weight, size/height) they both have similar torque and speed.

The speaker literally sounds like my JBL pocket speaker. Amazing quality. Also, at 40kmh, the wheel felt fine, it's tiny wobbles are easy as heck to control

The MTen 5 could replace both the A2 and the MTen 4
A2 size is still a bit more stable and easier to learn on though
