a tip to anyone watching this, you can use higher heats but i recomend laying a pillow case, or a sheet over your whites, that will help prevent burns and melting fabric.
Lol yess this vid is so helpful! I’m 2 years in and we rarely do dress white inspections on the ship so I forgot how to iron them like what setting to use and all
I haven’t worn whites for nearly a year due to corona I forgot which way the creases on the sleeve went. Thank you so much I appreciate you making this video.
if you flip the uniform inside out and fold it in half (so the sleeves go forward, away from the back and all material is mirrored on top of each other), then you pressed everything flat, all the creases will be in the exact place they need to be
Thanks for the tutorial! I'm at a Cleaners is north dakota and we don't have many navy uniforms come through. If we do they are quite old. But thank you for the instructions! Very helpful and easy to understand
Iron out the wrinkles and a more simple way is folding it inside out, face up, then fold it to make it look like a 7 each way and iron it this guy did it more complicated
Dam foo, you don’t remember how they do it in boot camp yet your wearing a shoulder tassel, no shave either bro. Good video, extremely helpful Fersure but dam bro, standards.
🤦🏼♀️ dont do this! Slide it over the top of the ironing board otherwise youre ironing the seams from one side and creating lines on the other side. Also, do a quick wash/dry (still damp) and then hang it and steam them! Gets the wrinkles out! Then once its dry, do your ironing
Thank you so much for this tutorial! The RDC’s didn’t teach us anything during the corona bootcamp.
facts they really didn’t teach us shit
Well even before they didn't teach lol went 10 years ago would've been useful
100% they taught us nothing about these uniforms and even told us to fold them in a way that causes creases that make us fail inspections at A school.
Ikr man I graduated November 6th
I'm a dry cleaner in ND. Not many navy uniforms come through here but today I had 2 and this video saved me! Thanks!
And thank you for your service!
Same here
