I loved watching it as usual, very inspiring! Recently I stopped using an additional track to make a trance gate, and I just made a little effect rack with a shaper on the utility gain. I don't know if it could suit you. thanks again for your creativity and inspiration!
Don't know if you missed it but the arpeggio type lead actually changes key which I don't think you added. Not sure why you would double track the vocal too instead of just using an echo? In the original, there's aa much bigger gap after that solo vocal too.
How do you introduce enough timing imperfection to avoid a track sounding dead and artificial whilst remaining on the beat enough to avoid sounding sloppy and amateurish? Are there tracks within a project where absolute mathematical perfection is better while others that might benefit from more human levels of off-set from machine like accuracy?
She’s an amazing DJ but isn’t her stuff ghosted produced I might be wrong still have much respect for her (also really good video learned a lot from it regardless)
she's a marketing act, very much so like k-pop, people really into techno do not dig her music at all. These days it is unfortunately very much form over substance and that is why autosync dj's rule the commercial festivals. She certainly is not playing techno either, her music hovers somewhere between trance and hard-trance.

Amen Brother Will 🙏, this was a educational sunday morning! I took a zip of coffy and some more, but another great tutorial. I will try to recreate this one. I found out that this is a great way to use learning the teqnicues you showed.
Any idea why when I drag Env 1 to the Filter Cutoff it doesn't allow me to adjust Env 1 -> Fil Cutoff? Regardless of which Env I use or if I'm clicking/holding on the little blue headphone lookin thing in the corner of the cutoff knob it's just not working. Almost as if it's not regestered I want to adjust the envelope. Only adjusting is of the Fil Cutoff.

The tick is always there, while the kick may not when I need it, i.e. to sidechain pads or a sub bass during breakdowns. In addition, the tick is shorter/less complex than the kick's waveform, allowing me to duck the signal more precisely, and customize more.
Yes, as @marco83 points out, it is essentially for control. For the same reason, I use a volume shaper instead. But it is more a question of personal preference. You can also get the results you want without the tick track, but it typically takes longer to dial it in, and you need to be creative if you want it working when the kick isn't playing.
He uses a shorter sound than a kick to allow for more control of the sidechain using the compressor settings. Plus you can also have the ghost playing in the breaks where there is no kick if you still want to sidechain elements.

To the commenters below, look past the artist, and listen to what the teacher is teaching. Its not about her, its about how you can take some of brushstrokes of ideas planted here and utilize them as seeds to create your own music.

Appreciate it! 🙂🙌🏻🙏🏻
I love your vidéos ! But I need to say that Charlotte Did Not Changed techno at all. She was not even born when the first remix of Age of love, a similar remix of this one, came out in 1992.
Producers from all around the world did produce the exact same things in the 1990’s.
But your Channel is really nice 👍
Thank you, Francois, I really appreciate the support 🙏
