I’ve been playing since about 2011 and now I’m 22 years old. I just re-watched this video after all those years and I literally just cried. I feel like such a loser crying over some video game video but… Minecraft is a beautiful game, so beautiful, and it reminds me of my beautiful ex. :(

Smooth lighting really changed the feel of the game. It's not just that, but you can tell that a distinct feeling changed with the look of lighting on blocks vs the new gradient

Man minecraft was the best. I literally got every single kid in my class to play every day after school back like 7 years ago now, was my childhood. The amount of nostalgia these sort of videos give me, even 6 years ago when this video was released I went onto the Hat Films video and downloaded one of the maps from it for hours, I still have it on my $60 laptop (notebook) that would run minecraft at 2fps. With my old minecraft worlds which say the date last logged on something like 05/12/11

Dinosaur yea i loved Minecraft but my school removed them from our ipads, but some of us got it back.
