I remember playing in highschool, graduated 2012. I don't remember exactly what version I started. But I know it was before they added hunger as a mechanic. Haven't played since highschool. But I still have fond memories of playing Minecraft and watching UA-cam channels of it.
After watching this nostalgic video, I realised 2 things : 1. I am so fucking old and 2. Minecraft has gone from a primitive game that no one has even heard of, to a game that is practically known all over the world, even for those people who have never played it at all
I was one of those people who had never played Minecraft. I think I only used to watch videos of it way back since 2016.. Not until I had my very first Minecraft game in 2020 through pocket edition and this year I had my very first gaming laptop so I got Java. Man I love this game so much.
I liked the alpha en Beta games more. I stopped playing Minecraft when it was released. I did not like the changes in the final version. I also did not like to start al over again after every update because the game became corrupt.
I started playing from version 1.10 I felt a lot of nostalgia thinking that many things have happened since the first time I played it. I really liked this video, you are a crack 😌
I remember the good old days on how i discovered Minecraft because of my mother teaching me, i played the 2016 versions, its not really the original Minecraft game just a fangame, but it sure really gave me nostalgias
My mom once played Minecraft version Alpha 1.0 (Forgot the version but it was an old one) She built a good box house made out of cobblestone and wood, when I first saw her playing the game, I was excited to play it. After she got tired playing, I borrowed it. I was learning new stuffs such as building, and that stuff that can spawn a small netherland place where zombie piglins spawn (Forgot what it is). I built a trusty nice looking bridge with fences and torches, she was proud of my bridge. Everyday we would keep borrowing the phone eachother. I made a house near a lake with a boat dock, she liked it too. But the best thing I made was the bridge, it was simple but worth it. So, when my mom accidentally deleted Minecraft. She was worried that I'd go sad, but! She managed to find a new game that's similar to Minecraft! It's Multicraft. When she first said that she downloaded a new Minecraft game, I was excited (and happy). But when I asked her "Is it the real one?" She turned quiet. (And yes i know that in her mind she will be worried if I went sad if it's not he real one, I still appreciated it) but I feel bad for her when I asked her. A few few days, my mother downloaded another game. Lokicraft. The textures we're nice. She built a nice comfy house. Then next when it was my turn to play, I built a school on a mountain, and an improved long bridge (it was similar to Akashi-Kaikyo bridge, or The golden gate bridge) She was shocked, and proud. But since the bridge has no water beneath it, I dug 1 block deep, it took me so long to fill the water since I didn't know there was a command feature. Then! She made a really large dense residential-commercial hotel. It had many beds for the villagers to sleep, I was so proud of my mother too! Everyday we would keep building impressive structures, towns, and farms. But one day it stopped..... When my little sister played the game, she loved exploring. She always explores everywhere and investigates built-in structures, one day. As she (my little sis) was exploring. She was lost. And couldn't find our town. Luckily I remembered the compass thing, but I had no remembrance of the location direction in my mind because I forgot it. When I told my mother about it, she was sad, hoping that we would find our town. But we we're unlucky. So my mother quitted playing the game. She only plays it rarely and sometimes because she's busy nowadays. But I really miss the nostalgias we used to have :( (If you're wondering how my mother played Minecraft. Well my auntie (My mom's older sister) gave her Cherrymobile phone to my mother, she was happy, and excited. While she was inspecting the apps, she came upon this app called "Minecraft" where my auntie used to play, when my mother played the game she was amazed by the building features, gui and ui. When she started her first world, it was the day she started learning to build and play Minecraft, that's how it all started) Epic.....

But, I'm so glad that she told me about Minecraft, I'm playing it almost every day and I love this game so much. I remember my first time playing Minecraft, that time when I found a Desert pyramid and there was a cow, And I though it was a mummy... I was afraid of Minecraft cows after that. it's so much fun to remember those good times :)
Such a wonderful game. I first played it at a relative’s house in 2014, and then several weeks later got it on Pocket edition, and eventually got it on PC down the line. I love how fun and creative this game is, brings so many good memories. Still play it today!

Amazing how the game had basically implemented the vast majority of features that I care about by 2012 or 2013. Other than some minor quality of life and bug fixes, I couldn't possibly care less if development stopped after 1.8 or so. They've crammed too much into Minecraft at this point.
Everything since 1.7 changed the game so hard for me compared to the previous versions. I started with 1.4 and played till 1.9. When I returned in 2022 to Minecraft, it was like a different game. But i still play it, even if i muss the atmosphere of the og days.

Ruby and her redstone expert friend go to Redstonia to recruit Tristana, and they made the command block together. Our heroes venture to Vitruvius’ underground temple and enter the end where they meet Vitruvius. Man. I first heard about Minecraft back in early 2011, but I finally had gotten to play it myself sometime around Christmas the next year I think(?) I could have sworn I started playing on 1.2.4 but it could have just been the version I started on, idk. At the time I played through the Minecraft website, along with those classic servers! The things I saw were awe inspiring imo. But 1.5-1.7 feels hazy tho, because the horses blew my mind! I was super cool, and also the unfortunate fate of the red rose 🌹 still haunts me to this day🌹 I’m old apparently… didn’t know 20s was the new 40 :/
Played Minecraft in beta the oof sound gave me back some good memories building my first dirt house (I still remeber exactly how to build it all becuase of a hurt sound)
I got into Minecraft SUPER late. I don't know why I never played it until 2019, full decade after the game's release, but I've recently been intrigued by all the old versions and the game's history. Also, even though it was late, I'm so glad I was able to get into it cause this is one of the coolest games I've ever played.

I used to play it in only during these years 2014-15 (there was no shield). I never went back to it till 2024, so many things were added and improved, I could imagine that this game doesn't have a development limit and will keep on improving and adding new features!

There are many mistakes in the video. The acaia trees and savanna was added much much later in the game, definetly not alpha! The picture 4:47 is completely worng this must be a much later version. I started playing Minecraft in late 2012 with version 1.4.6 and even it did not have acaia trees. I noticed a few other mistakes too but this is the first I noticed. If you don't get it right, then what is the point of the video?

I remember playing with my cousin for literal hours every time I stayed at her house. We built a tree base and absolutely loved it. I'll never forget the feeling.
I want The update that changed the world part 2. Which it didn't do much. Illusioners spawn in raids and woodland mansions, nether portals spawn naturally, with Illusioner, Ender dragon, Wither spawn eggs in inventory, more villages, and a naturally spawned sniffer in plains villages.
Minecraft is probably the greatest game ever in my opinion. It just keeps getting better every year too. The last few major updates have been awesome. The Caves and Cliffs updates have probably been my favorite. The Deep Dark was a great addition too.
I started playing when there were no cows and the armour was made out of wool. Huge nostalgia moment. Also the time between beds and pistons being added is only 6 months, back then it felt like a few years.
I miss 2015... I was in 2nd grade, almost a decade ago I used to play Minecraft in my mom's old computer around that time we stopped playing because the game broke and it was such a shock to learn about the updates afterwards I've never seen like the 2016 evokers and shields and elytra and fireworks all that insane stuff it was like I was completely blind to the world of minecraft once I stopped playing it and you know what's the funniest part? my greatest achievement back in the day before the game broke was creating an iron sword I still remember how me and my older sister as kids freaked out like some silly UA-camrs reacting to a horror game, how we used our old house for safety when we were running from monsters lost in the dark and how I felt like a genious remembering the recepies for the crafting table... "how do I craft this again? oh oh oh oh" yep I remembered that... haha.. either way it's a great game... I miss it

Fun fact Minecraft 1.20 has no update name the reason why they called it the Desert Update was because it is adding candles. And There is going to be a 1.19.4 coming

Hanging signs is a block variant of the sign, that you can hang on the block, stairs, slabs, trapdoors, ceiling, fences, walls, and anything you want
I know. Hanging signs are crafted with 6 of any wood and 2 chains.

Wow, beta only lasted around a year? Felt like many years as a child, started in beta 1.1 and stopped playing around final release

Man. I first heard about Minecraft back in early 2011, but I finally had gotten to play it myself sometime around Christmas the next year I think(?) I could have sworn I started playing on 1.2.4 but it could have just been the version I started on, idk.
At the time I played through the Minecraft website, along with those classic servers! The things I saw were awe inspiring imo. But 1.5-1.7 feels hazy tho, because the horses blew my mind! I was super cool, and also the unfortunate fate of the red rose 🌹 still haunts me to this day🌹

Played Minecraft in beta the oof sound gave me back some good memories building my first dirt house (I still remeber exactly how to build it all becuase of a hurt sound)

I got into Minecraft SUPER late. I don't know why I never played it until 2019, full decade after the game's release, but I've recently been intrigued by all the old versions and the game's history. Also, even though it was late, I'm so glad I was able to get into it cause this is one of the coolest games I've ever played.

I used to play it in only during these years 2014-15 (there was no shield). I never went back to it till 2024, so many things were added and improved, I could imagine that this game doesn't have a development limit and will keep on improving and adding new features!
I rly dk why, but the 1.8.9 version, is the best nostalgic version for me 💖.

There are many mistakes in the video. The acaia trees and savanna was added much much later in the game, definetly not alpha! The picture 4:47 is completely worng this must be a much later version. I started playing Minecraft in late 2012 with version 1.4.6 and even it did not have acaia trees. I noticed a few other mistakes too but this is the first I noticed. If you don't get it right, then what is the point of the video?

I want The update that changed the world part 2. Which it didn't do much. Illusioners spawn in raids and woodland mansions, nether portals spawn naturally, with Illusioner, Ender dragon, Wither spawn eggs in inventory, more villages, and a naturally spawned sniffer in plains villages.

Minecraft is probably the greatest game ever in my opinion. It just keeps getting better every year too. The last few major updates have been awesome. The Caves and Cliffs updates have probably been my favorite. The Deep Dark was a great addition too.

Notch always makes perfect! i love him, Notch was adding more items and mechanics every week. But microsoft It hasn't updated the game for months.
I started playing when there were no cows and the armour was made out of wool. Huge nostalgia moment. Also the time between beds and pistons being added is only 6 months, back then it felt like a few years.

I was in 2nd grade, almost a decade ago I used to play Minecraft in my mom's old computer
around that time we stopped playing because the game broke
and it was such a shock to learn about the updates afterwards I've never seen like the 2016 evokers and shields and elytra and fireworks all that insane stuff
it was like I was completely blind to the world of minecraft once I stopped playing it
and you know what's the funniest part? my greatest achievement back in the day before the game broke was creating an iron sword
I still remember how me and my older sister as kids freaked out like some silly UA-camrs reacting to a horror game, how we used our old house for safety when we were running from monsters lost in the dark
and how I felt like a genious remembering the recepies for the crafting table...
"how do I craft this again? oh oh oh oh" yep I remembered that... haha..
either way it's a great game... I miss it
Terrific video, I found at least one mistake, Savana biome was added in 1.7 update, but not in alpha 1.2, this this a big mistake.
