To be fair im happy someone finally did the right thing and let manga fans know, no arlong park isnt where you should stop if you dont like it...its not that amazing for modern audiences, i think its an epic story so like all epics you gotta give into the long haul before deciding. I know that sounds dumb why keep reading something you dont like but quitting at arlong is like quitting a well acclaimed book at the first chapter cause it didnt live up to expectations and wasnt peak yet. Like come on. I say marine ford is where people should know if they wanna stop after that arc. One piece moments are just more of that stuff you got so far and if your unimpressed drop...but at that point i wonder if anything impresses you since stories can only go so far.
How i got into one piece 👇 Step 1: My friend told me about it and convinced me to watch it Step 2: i watched up to Arlong park and watched the first episode if Arlong park and I just came to the conclusion that One Piece wasnt for me Step 3: 7 months later i was hadn't watched one piece again ever since but on this day i was bored so I decided to watch the second episode of Arlong Park Step 4: I finished Arlong park and i liked it so i kept watching One Piece Step 5: when I finised Drum Island I completly fell in love with One Piece and now I watch ut every day and im on episode 312 and i also read the manga now and it's pretty much my biggest obsession

I'm a slow reader. I usually read in the same speed people would speak. I imagine the people actually talking in real time with voices when I read something seriously. If I did it like this, I'd probably miss most of it and could not enjoy it.
I actually went through the entirety of One Piece in a year or so (probably more than a year) I started reading it on December 2022 and I am currently caught up and waiting for the next chapter. It wasn't that hard.
It took me 7 months of pure watching in all my free time during the 2021 lockdown which at the time 1017 was the most recent episode when I started, I caught up finally around 1026, then I switched to the manga

How did you like culling games. Fans are haters on it but mostly cause they had to read week to week. Some people hated jjk season 1 cause they thought it was overhyped by manga fans who knew about shibuya...now they hate shibuya and love season 1 cause shibuya was fast paced and too hype and they wanted filler with the characters....cant win. Culling games likely will be better in anime with slower pacing but if your a weekly reader alot hate culling games and think its slow and nothing happened but reading it binge im sure you noticed alot happened.
