- A fresh, new take on Anno 1800 gameplay. Starting fresh in 2023 and leading into 2024; it's an eclectic mix of beauty building, min-maxing, and ridiculous commentary.
The strategies we use are applicable to both the PC and console edition.

Great 1st episode! Finally found someone again who consider beauty building and not just grids. Looking forward for future episodes.
Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. Grids do have their time and place in Anno, just not ALL the times and ALL the places. Ya know?
3 minutes in and already I love your game settings and the reasons for them. Hoping to settle into this playlist for the longhaul. Thanks for some great content.
^^^ THIS guy gets it. Welcome to the madness, my friend.
Rightttt
@minleo5367 when you find something resonates, you know pretty quickly.
UA-cam just suggested this series to me, man a lot of episodes to watch :) looking forward to it!
Welcome! Looking forward to your thoughts as you go. It's a roller coaster of madness, for sure.
great stuff; thank you for posting this. Funny when you noticed the name of your island =)
crazy what is new with youtube ads. I'm getting a commercial break every few minutes in this 38 minute video (this is a youtube thing, not about this channel). Until very recently, a video like this would have ads at the beginning only. I'm fine with some ads, but I estimate that they just 5X'ed the amount recently.
Sorry about that. I'll see what I can do on my end to make that better in the future. Hope you enjoy the rest of the series!
@@AlrightMikeGames I dont think it is you at all, regarding the ads.
18:52 Look closely at the yellow highlighted paths from field to warehouse. That is the path they take.
Another Anno streamer found, a new great adventure ahead ❤
Hey Mike. I didn't realise you also make vids. I will be watching through when I have time. You are so much more relaxed than me LOL
Awesome. There have been lots of ups and downs between episode 1 and 50, to say the least. I hope you enjoy the series!
I have never seen a wild buildstyle like yours. But I really enjoy watching
Thanks, I appreciate that! There are lots of ways to play Anno, and I think too many people on UA-cam play the exact....same....style.
Just downloaded the game for the first time and loved this first episode! Excited to follow the series
Say goodbye to your friends and family! Haha, hope you enjoy all of my mistakes....and the other stuff, too. :)
the last time i followed anno 1800 playthrough series was 2019. always a great time with this game. ill be following through once again with this one!
Awesome! Feel free to send feedback, as you go.
(Honestly, it's crazy for me to look back now and see HOW far things have come since the beginning)
@@AlrightMikeGames haha cheers mate!
i am four episodes in and there's already a couple of things that I have never seen or heard, like silos and tractors for farms?
just exciting stuff!
You are the best. Thank you for your work.
Thanks! I appreciate that.
I know this is going to be relaxing to watch
......I purchased this game for my PS5 yesterday. Haven't started it, but am looking forward to it, but need to see some videos to know what's what. So far, I'm intrigued with your video....I'll be subscribing, so keep them coming.
It's the only game I've ever played that has held my attention for this long(3 years now, I believe). Just when you think you have everything figured out, something else takes you down another path. It's fantastically frustrating and satisfying. Hope you enjoy the content.
@@AlrightMikeGames - I used to love the game Civilization....don't know if it's like that game or not, but we'll see how it goes.
The thing about "First to the warehouse.. " at 18:45. Are you sure about that ?
I currently play 1800 actively and check the routes the buildings take.. the distilery,
in your case, will grab the potatoes out and only if the storage is full the farms bring them to the warehouse
They need some time to resync, but they do at some point
(Hence you see the one potato farm still bringing in the goods to the warehouse, despite the distilery right in front of it)
Same goes with all npc's and activies, they all need either some time to setup, get started or need to sync up
since they are updated ever so often to check if something changed for in the players game state progress
That does make sense, the way you explained it. Ya know.... going back to when I made this episode, I was also actively watching another series (by Coffee and Khaos) and he swore that warehouses didn't matter. He would have 1 warehouse for like 37 production buildings, and maybe that frustration clouded my judgement.
They do seem to flow, though. Maybe it's the 1-to-1 ratio buildings that do it seamlessly, and when the chains get more complicated and the storage starts to fill, your theory comes into play? I'm honestly not sure.
@@AlrightMikeGames Depending on the level of the warehouse it might be enough to balance out
more than the amount of ramps that warehouse has. Looks like the trips the buildings take
may result in the other buildings having enough time to occupy a ramp and free it before the other one comes by
Even the position seem to not matter as long as it is in range, they just pack up more goods in one trip when its longer, which is nice
I'm not sure how he managed to satisfy so many buildings with one (most likely fully upgraded) warehouse :D
I sadly am still not at schoolars so I don't know what comes then. Whether you can increase the processing speed of ramps
But damn.. that's a lot :D
What I know for certain is that the count of buildings which actually deliver to the warehouse matching the amount of ramps matters.
As soon as the storage for say Schnapps fills up, the distileries stop working and the potato farms deliver their good to the house.
If everything demand/supply is balanced then yeah everything should work flaaaawlessly :D
alright ep 1 lesgoooo🎉
Love this game in my steam deck ❤
Wish I could play this game but my laptop is pretty bad. It's fun watching you play it.
Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest of the series, as well.
23:05-23:10 When you reach Workers. 💪
That background music tho❤
Anno music is the best, and yes, eventually I learn how to mix my audio better, promise!
how the hell do you build a sawmill been trying too for an hour !
This game reminds me of tropica game series
I love Tropico!
saw it on sale today on steam, base game + all dlcs $234
Nice.
You need workers before Archie gives you bricks and eventually steel.
i like this game. i played it on the ps5. GREAT GAME
It really is the best. Hope you enjoy the series!
No campaign mode?
How are you able to zoom out that far?
There's a setting in-game. Options...Gameplay...Increased Camera Distance
how do you move multiple buildings at once? is it mod?
Nope! No mods. Just highlight and move them. Easy peasy.
At 14:15 there is a pop-up that explains how to move multiple
alright mike
how to flip building while placing or consructing.
Middle mouse button
What DLC is the silo from?
bright harvest dlc
Do you think the DLC are needed for this?
Absolutely. There may be a couple you could do without, but, if you get a good sale price....take advantage!
Good Show
Thanks! Hope you like the rest of the series.
If you don`t upgrade to workers Archie can`t give you anything but planks. Fast forward the game for faster production...thanks
Is the dlc for this game purely cosmetic?
Nope!
@@AlrightMikeGames ok thanks.
I don't have the Grand Gallery in my main menu!!! please help!!!!! i'm on ps5!!!
I wish I could!!!! But, I'm on PC!!!! You got this!!!! I believe in you!!!!
@AlrightMikeGames your comment made me smile. Lol. Thank you 🤣🙂🙂 and awww that sucks about you can't help me but thank you anyways.✅️
Damn when you started playing anno 1720 insteas of 1800
You know that feeling when you get off of a really short ride at a theme park and you wish you hadn't waited in line for 3 hours to ride it? Yeah, that's NOT this Let's Play. This rollercoaster is a long one, with like 36 loops and 14 twists.
What’s the game called
Anno 1800
try frost punk
I'm playing frostpunk rn and debating getting this game now.
I'm also playing Frostpunk right now, and both are great in their own way. Anno is just....way more chill.
See what I did there?
@@AlrightMikeGames anno is chill. Frost punk is cool
First time seeing this although its a little fast to follow
This was the first episode I ever recorded. Admittedly, I was a little nervous and probably talking too fast.
was interested until i noticed you gotta download uplay to play lol
It's worth the...... experience. Lol
I really want to play this game but its to confusing for me 😢
It was confusing for all of us. I say go for it!
$363.68 For the game and all DLC. Ummm no.
Sadly the settings boring easy, don't wanna follow that. and you say the map should be revealed but if you follow the game it needs something surprising not that all open, and also wars in this game is important and more fun to watch how to manage that. If you only like building city and economy you should play alone. Cos that would be everyone's own visuals intrest but not exciting to follow other people's mind. Anyway enjoy the game bye bye.
"Anyway enjoy the game..."
Definitely my favorite part. Hahaha
we need a face reveal
I don't care what to say, it's great seeing someone who doesn't just do grids and AND speaks English for a change. So tired of European players butchering English with the utmost confidence. Nivarias I'm looking at you.
To be fair, English is really difficult; I've used it my whole life! Nivarias is great....at his very specific style of play. Too formulaic for my taste, but, to each their own.
Hope you enjoy the rest of my series!
Damn europeans, speaking european language.
How many languages do you speak??
Nivarias ultra hard gameplay, but with qol mod and plentifull resource and large island 😂
I don't care what to say?
easy is boring, building and economy should not be anyone else intrest, because its induvidial mind and eye how to do it. so its more nice to follow gameplays how to manage against hard opponents.
think about watching war movies wheres no war and conflicts and combats hah.
Is war the only type of conflict, though? ;)
