SpeedBox 1.2 for Bafang is compatible with Bafang Max Drive until model year 2020 - 3-pin connector on the cable to the speed sensor
SpeedBox 1.3 for Bafang is compatible with Bafang Max Drive model year 2021 and later - 4-pin connector on the cable to the speed sensor
The installation procedure is the same for both versions. The only difference is in the number of pins in the connector on the cable to the speed sensor. Furthermore, the B.Tuning version uses Bluetooth technology to connect your e-bike to your smartphone.

Wie erkenne ich ob mein Bike Bafang M400 3 polig oder 4 polig ist?

Hallo.
Wenn du die Motorabdeckung öffnest, sollte dort ein Schema gezeichnet sein. Auf dem Bild des Geschwindigkeitssensors siehst du dann 3 oder 4 Löcher. Wenn dort kein Schema vorhanden ist, versuche den Geschwindigkeitssensor zu trennen und nachzusehen.

So if you use 1.2 version theres no way to control the speedbox and how does it work then? Where do you buy the speedboxes btw?

Hello. SpeedBox 1.2 for Bafang is no longer for sale. We recommend version 3.0 (for 3-pin connectors), version 3.1 (for 4-pin connectors) or version 3.2 (for M500 motors).
