a couple things: 1. i can't believe greed is back (i am sad but excited LOL) 2. my love for scar grew exponentially in the last episode 💀 3. please NO spoilers in the comments - this includes confirming/denying my theories!! thank you for watching! i love this show
I don't know if you already saw this, but episode 28 has a post-credit scene. For your reference, these are all the episodes with scenes after the credits: 6, 8, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33, 36, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 48, 49. Besides those, the endings of episodes 45, 54, 63, and 64 are different. :D
"It looks like [Hohenheim] never aged." You do see a photo of him and a younger Pinako in ep 20 and that's the indication that he doesn't age. Reactors tend to miss this because they dont notice the smoking pipe Pinako is holding in the photo and therefore don't recognize that that's her.
Instead of doing a plot-recap episode, this show did a theme-recap episode. Not about what has happened, but about what has been learned. And Hohenheim being the lens for all this is just great foreshadowing.
Glad you included a reaction to the new opening. All of the openings are amazing in their own way and have a definite tone that fits in with their section of the story. Most reactors seem to not pay them much heed. Interlude Party might be y favorite episode. It doesn't progress the plot, but it progresses the themes (and this show is full of themes that are equally important to the plot and not at all divorced from it). It gives our first glimpse into Hohenheim's character, without telling too much and giving us a needed recap with how much has happened in the show up until this point. It's also has way more happening in it than it appears at first, and becomes apparent on subsequent viewings once you know everything about who Hohenheim is and what he's up to. Trisha's words of encouragement and hope also always makes me tear up. There's a lot of pain and sadness in this show, but there's significant amounts of hope and beauty, too. They often go hand in hand, so it can be easy to miss, but it's definitely a glass half full kind of show if you can make it through its trials and tribulations to see the heart at the center of it.
read a comment recently about this episode and it changed everything about it for me. The three visions are the Id the Ego and the Superego of Hohenheim with the Id being the evil wanting to use humans, the Ego being selfish and pessimistic and the Superego being the Hope for a better future and the whole episode is the fight that Hoenheim is having with himself over what to do for the coming future.
It will be very interesting to see what will become of Scar as a character. Him pulling up with May Chang was so cool, I really like that duo and yes it sucks that Ling is now possessed by Greed.
STRESS AND PAIN KKKKKKKKKKKKK im loving this series omg Ive started seeing your vids today (lookin for something to distract myself from what im going through) and im already catching up aaaa
Hi. Thanks so much for uploading this awesome anime reaction. I love your content because it's so cool, and I really enjoy watching you react to different shows.
Its because of there second Name, Elric from there Mother, not Hohenheim. 17:10 actually its a Spoiler. The Titlesequence shows whos gonna die, if we dont hear the "Fullmetal Alchemist", and we heard it in both Sequences. Not a Spoiler, I wrote the Comment after she finished the Show.
I had the same reaction when i first watched this show. I always wanted to see Greed again because he's an interesting character. But not by turning Ling into him lmao 💀
Episode 27 doesn't make sense until episode 56. I'd recommend making a note of it and then pausing episode 56 after it clicks to briefly revisit episode 27.
Originaly this show was organised by seasons the openings changed each season they lumo the entire show together because howmits story allways carrries straight on so splitting it into seasons again isnt helpful
Uh . . . no, you are way way way wrong there especially when both of Winry's parents were murdered by Scar. WHERE THE FRICK DID YOU GET THIS INFO FROM?

In the manga, the "Hohenhelm is father” thing is even more convincing since there is no voice and hair color differences
Yay! Greedling is here.
Also that is the best recap episode I've ever seen, they even use the new opening in it.

20:21 I can hear the "YOUR FACE ASPLODE"

This is also the best opening by far so it's great that she included the reaction.
Father knows who the Elric brothers are (candidates for sacrifice) but he had no reason to know that they were Hoenheim’s kids.
On one hand, yay Greed!
On the other, oh no, Ling!
Sometimes a good man just needs to get passed out drunk to remind him of the path he needs to take.
Oh, and don't give Ho a hard time about drinking. He'll explain later but he's drinking for a friend. A stable hand.
When the fanservice in a recap episode is on point: 5:42 lol

27 is a recap but we're finally getting a chance to see what's going on with Hohenheim and see all that's happened from his perspective.
So much intrigue being added.
Btw keep listening to the opening and endings. They'll really grow on you I promise.
can't wait for the next one! love your reactions and your theories lol
Yeah I was going to say stay away from comments some ppl can’t help themselves. Either way great reaction as always!
STRESS AND PAIN KKKKKKKKKKKKK im loving this series omg Ive started seeing your vids today (lookin for something to distract myself from what im going through) and im already catching up aaaa
