Also there are small parts from the manga that never got animated, such as Trisha and Hoenhiem reuniting in the afterlife.
Why do people always want everyone to react to bloopers? That episode is very unnecessary tbh. It just kills the immersion that you had with this anime. Atleast in my opinion.

I've been waiting for this. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood has the perfect ending; it ties up all of its plots, but leaves enough left open for the audience to imagine what becomes of their futures. Especially when it comes to Al, who will go off and explore the world and learn more about alchemy, with Mei Chang waiting for him, and with the chimeras being inspired by him. Of all the characters, he deserves that future the most. Ling ascended to power, but now his compassion for others extends beyond his immediate clan; Greed, of all people, is the one who taught him to value the others more. Scar will never be able to get back what he lost, but now he can rebuild instead of destroy. What I love most is how Ed and Al never forgot about Nina; despite defeating the ultimate evil, regaining their bodies, and all their knowledge, they will never forget the little girl that they couldn't save all that time ago. And that final shot of Ed is so fitting; thanks to that coat, he's the living image of a younger Hohenheim. But unlike his father, he isn't burdened by his actions any longer, and can live a fulfilling life with Winry. It's all perfect, and I'm so glad you watched it. PS. Don't forget to watch the bloopers!

You should watch FMA 2003, it's a totally different story with a psychological and tragic aspect. Nearly all the characters in FMAB are present in FMA 2003.
The worse thing about a really good game or show that is on the long side, is how the length of it keep you going for sooooo long. And when it ends on a satisfying and complete note like this, its hard to NOT get emotional. What a journey this show was. Easily one of the best of all time.
The story theme being heavily about give and take, equivalency in all things, they had to sacrifice happiness and comfort for tension and sorrow, which built them stronger foundations without tearing out their beliefs. It made them double down on knowing that life isn't fair, but they can try and give back 11 and slowly heal and improve
I get what you mean with your intro. You spend so much time with this characters, and getting to know them. And they're such wonderful and well fleshed out characters. It's not bittersweet. FMA Brotherhood is such a humbling anime and it will make you cry from overwhelming emotions in a good way. Animation, musics, plot, character desing and development everything is perfect.
Just watched this. It was such a a beautiful and honest review. it made me cry 😭. Thank you very much for reminding me why this was such a perfect anime.
The last pic of Ed in comparison to Hoheheim made me cry. Hohenheim holds Ed but cries in the pic in the series, but Ed smiles at the end. I’m sure Hohenheim is proud of him.
Aw, that was so heartfelt! I remember feeling the same way back when I had seen it, but this anime was one big smooth ride from start to finish. A true timeless classic in every sense of the word!
Was great going on this journey again with you! The mangaka, Arakawa did such a legendary job with this series and is a true inspiration. When she was trying to get it published in 2000, she was rejected by every editor she sent it to, some literally responding with "Women can't write shonen" (which LOL, imagine being so sexist you think one of the genders can't do a version of The Heroes' Journey). When she submitted under a male pen name however it was immediately accepted. Upon revealed herself, it broke a major glass ceiling in the industry, and there are multiple prominent female shonen mangaka today because of that. Years ago she said if she ever did a sequel, it would focus on Mustangs' rise to Fuhrer. Whether that comes or not, she's now apparently working on something special for the 20th anniversary of the Manga's start!
You edited it out but that slow walk Winry makes, every step she takes, after she opens the first door and then the music changes, and the background only with the photos on wall, and the white void after she opens the second door, it pumped my heart so much the first time I watched, it was so damn worth it. Such a beautiful scene, full of emotions, even if they had ended in that scene, I would have been satisfied but no they go further and give us the perfect ending to ever exist. This is why there is no anime that can come even close to this. People saying otherwise, I hope they get enough wisdom to see through this. This show along with FMA 2003, there is no story that can even come close to it. I never get tired of appreciating these two anines.
The ending to Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is so amazing. I'm happy to see you enjoy the show love the characters don't worry these characters will stay with you.
If you want to see a completely different story with the same characters, you can try the original FMA 2003. The early episodes of FMA 2003 follow the same storyline as the first 7 episodes of Brotherhood but the direction and the pacing is far better in FMA 2003. In FMA 2003, the relationship between Ed and Al is more fleshed out and hits much harder because it has the time to introduce their tragedy in a correct pace while Brotherhoods skim over the early episodes very quickly. Also FMA 2003 has a darker tone and is more atmospheric and character-centric.
Damn ive watch this like 7years ago. But seeing the ending again now Still makes me cry it feels like saying goodbye to your one and only friend and after that your like has no meaning again 😭The nostalgia 😭😭
"you decide who youre going to be" if you rewatch it, look at all the people Ed considers human, how even if they are bad such as the murderers in the armour he still views them as human, greed, even Envy. The only time, the one time he actively acknowledges someone as something else is father "go back to where you came from homonculous" this words had so much power in that context
Felt the same as you. On the one hand, the series was so well done, all the character arcs so satisfying, and everything was wrapped up so nicely that trying to go past it would be counterproductive. We all know a follow-up series wouldn't be as good. On the other hand, they could make 64 episodes of life at Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Winry Elric's house and I'd watch the hell out of that.
I'm just coming in to say you're really great and it's been a fun ride through this reaction series with you. Thanks for existing. I'm glad I found your channel waaaaay back when.
It's nice to see new people enjoying this series just as much as I did when I first watched it. Believe me, I cried just about as much as you did. This series is in my heart as one of my favorite anime series of all time, I rewatch it at least once a year. I've been saying as much as possible that there should be a sequel series that follows Alphonse or something, maybe we can get that to happen, these characters are too likeable to say goodbye.
No, there shouldn't be anything more than the series in itself, it's because of people always refusing to just let things go that we have stupidly bad sequels, just so that they can make more money out of the franchise, often ruining it at the same time.
@@jjkpolskeem I won't deny the fact that there has been some bad sequels out there, there's also plenty of sequels that have been really good. You should stop being a pessimist and believe that even a sequel can be really good, cause it can. That being said, there isnt gonna be a sequel series otherwise it would've already happened, but you cant blame me for wishing for it right? lol
I'm pretty sure in the final scene with winry and ed it was him actually proposing to her and they had already been together for the two years. This show is so great and your reactions have been too.

There’s no such thing as a painless lesson, they just don’t exist. Sacrifices are necessary; you can’t gain anything without losing something first. Although, if you can endure that pain, and walk away from it you’ll find that you now have a heart strong enough to overcome any obstacle. Yeah... a heart made Fullmetal. -Edward Elric
nah its perfectly okay for you to cry, we all did - I just did in rewatching on your cut down youtube version - FMA is one where you happy cry at the end and its worth it.

You really are one of the best reactor ive watched and this is a fun ride ❤️ Also did you notice the irony of deaths of the homonculus? Lust got killed by a known womanizer, roy Gluttony gets eaten by pride Envy commits suicide when he realized that he is envious to humans Sloth overexhaust himself fighting the armstrongs. Wrath got defeated by someone who was once full of wrath but found peace, scar. And he also died smiling peacefully. Pride got defeated when kimblee managed to distract him cause he lost his pride. He also got turned into a human which he always think to be lower than him basically he became "humbled". And he also got defeated by someone who was once full of pride but also became humble, ed. Greed dies thankful and satisfied with what he have, friends. Im really thankful for all this vid ❤️😁
This is one of my two favorite endings to anything. It's exactly what I see as a perfect ending, one that leaves you wanting more but knowing that there shouldn't be more. Fun fact, Ed and Winry don't kiss because the mangaka couldn't draw people kissing. 3:30 About Fate. Start with Fate/stay night Unlimited Blade Works (2014 series, not the 2010 movie), then watch the Heaven's Feel trilogy of movies, and finally watch Fate/Zero. A bit of a breakdown is that Unlimited Blade Works is the second route of the Fate/stay night visual novel that started the Fate series as a whole, and Heaven's Feel is the third route (route essentially meaning alternate timeline, different paths the story can take). Unfortunately the first route doesn't have a great adaptation (there's a 2006 adaptation from Studio Deen but the animation hasn't aged very well and it mixes in elements of the other two, so it's not a great adaptation) which is what causes the watch order debate. Zero is a prequel that takes place 10 years before the events of UBW and HF which is why people argue about watch order, but even ufotable, the studio who adapted all three, don't recommend starting with Zero because it spoils things in the other two. This post on the Fate subreddit goes into greater detail: www.reddit.com/r/fatestaynight/comments/df8rvo/rfatestaynights_official_viewing_order_guide_v2/

Now you can get into Silver Spoon, same manga artist, totally different genre, but equally awesome
^^ I second this. There are no good reactions to it, and it’s such an endearing show for how simple the premise is.
One of the funniest animes i've seen
Just watched this. It was such a a beautiful and honest review. it made me cry 😭. Thank you very much for reminding me why this was such a perfect anime.
Same, that's why I watch people react to it so I may relive it through them
The last pic of Ed in comparison to Hoheheim made me cry.
One of the most perfect ending of all anime i ever seen ! Thanks for the feels !
I have a head cannon that Ed named his daughter Nina in tribute. He could never forget her and idk, it just always seemed fitting to me
thats a beautiful headcanon
Maybe the boy's name could be Van or Maes or maybe Al's potential future son's name could be Maes.
Or Trisha after his mother.
You upload the video. I give it a like.
Classic Equivalent(?) Exchange
"Stop! That tickles!"
That phrase always make me cry!
Edward dressing like Hohenheim in that final shot always gets me
If you want to see more of this world then you have to watch Fma 2003, its different than FMAB but it's very good.
lies upon lies. 2003 fma is the worst anime of all. It's trash.
Winry walking to the front door, seeing the photos and everything, it was like she was walking through her door of truth.
Also FMA 2003 has a darker tone and is more atmospheric and character-centric.
damn i cried with you the whole episode lmao this will always be one of my all time favorite shows in general with such a terrific ending.
What a masterpiece
Damn ive watch this like 7years ago. But seeing the ending again now Still makes me cry it feels like saying goodbye to your one and only friend and after that your like has no meaning again 😭The nostalgia 😭😭
27:25 you can always rewatch it, Fma lives in you as long as you keep remembering it.
Or watch other people's reaction like we do 🤣
"you decide who youre going to be" if you rewatch it, look at all the people Ed considers human, how even if they are bad such as the murderers in the armour he still views them as human, greed, even Envy. The only time, the one time he actively acknowledges someone as something else is father "go back to where you came from homonculous" this words had so much power in that context
Also a good show to react to is Avatar the last airbender
Felt the same as you. On the one hand, the series was so well done, all the character arcs so satisfying, and everything was wrapped up so nicely that trying to go past it would be counterproductive. We all know a follow-up series wouldn't be as good.
On the other hand, they could make 64 episodes of life at Mr. and Mrs. Ed and Winry Elric's house and I'd watch the hell out of that.
Its been such a ride watching you react to this show! It nearly brought me to tears. Im glad you enjoyed the show so much (: thank you!
I'm just coming in to say you're really great and it's been a fun ride through this reaction series with you. Thanks for existing. I'm glad I found your channel waaaaay back when.
I know that feel, the feel that only a masterpiece can do it
Dont worry. We all crying with you
R.I.P Fmab reactions😪😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
You did it, now your travel has a goal like the last phrase of Edward, A Heart Made FullMetal
Selim's probably gonna be *prideful* growing up
It's nice to see new people enjoying this series just as much as I did when I first watched it.
That being said, there isnt gonna be a sequel series otherwise it would've already happened, but you cant blame me for wishing for it right? lol
Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is the Real Masterpiece of all time.
The author said that she has an announcement to make regarding the 20th anniversary of Fma next July, gotta look forward to that 😋 .
Someone cuts onions every time this episode comes up. It's torture.
I don't want to end.
Best review ever.
I said those words to so many stories.
The scene of Ed's confession has to be the best confession scene ever in any anime
Well, good to know that this show's ending still makes me cry even after the 5 times i've rewatched it. :')
If you wanna see the characters again you can watch Fma 2003. There are not many reactions to the series out there and I really wanna rewatch it.
that's not fma. that's just trash.
@@jtomyhope575 naah, you must be 12 yo.
@@lemisho8186 it doesn't have half the actual cast and ends with nazis. trash.
@@jtomyhope575 and this makes it bad... child
@@lemisho8186 like the trash show all you want, but rewatch it on your own, don't ask others to suffer because of your poor taste.
I'm pretty sure in the final scene with winry and ed it was him actually proposing to her and they had already been together for the two years. This show is so great and your reactions have been too.
I knew that ending quote from Ed would get you hahah
10:02 showing for her second time she doesn't know what humans fist bump like
Edit:the artist
Truly one of the most complete and satisfying anime endings I've seen
don't forget to watch the 4 koma theater. it's part of the FMAB show and it's on youtube, you'll laugh a lot and it won't be a goodbye yet. trust me, you won't regret it
Oh my God this was exactly me when I finished FMAB tears mixed with laughters. Some may argue that it is not the best ending or at least not the only perfect ending but no one would deny that no ending gives such a heart warming feeling.
The level of bittersweet happiness I felt at this ending was immense lol.
nah its perfectly okay for you to cry, we all did - I just did in rewatching on your cut down youtube version - FMA is one where you happy cry at the end and its worth it.
:)
I always tear up when he says “a heart made full metal”
Me too. I cried so much while I edited this today.
This is one of the best anime I´ve had the pleasure of seeing, and I loved your reaction to it, I reacted the same way the 1st time I saw it, absolutely beautiful :) thanks for sharing
You really are one of the best reactor ive watched and this is a fun ride ❤️
Also did you notice the irony of deaths of the homonculus?
Lust got killed by a known womanizer, roy
Gluttony gets eaten by pride
Envy commits suicide when he realized that he is envious to humans
Sloth overexhaust himself fighting the armstrongs.
Now you have to react to Fullmetal alchemist brotherhood bloopers. It's absolutely hilarious
Such a perfect ending, it’s ok to cry for it. Glad u loved the series
Honestly, I feel you. I loved the show but I hated that it had to end at some point.
you should do a reaction to the next episode (the blooper reel). It's kind of funny.
By the way, edward hugging winry is because the creator didn't knew how to draw people kissing, so count it as a kiss
All stories have to end. It is that act of ending, knowing that they are finite, that gives them their meaning and significance.
Gotta do the bloopers!
Definitely give the manga a look because it cut out a lot of shit that matters, including the reason why Ling has decided to protect all the other clans.
That is the best and worst feeling about anime. When you watch a whole series to see the amazing ending, but wanting more cuz it was so good.
