Absolutely love it! The commentary had me giggling constantly! We've all been where you are now, and you're right here... I hate the astrologer class too :')
I really enjoyed watching this. Great job! Was loling the whole time. 😂 I find it so relatable especially since Elden Ring is my 1st Souls game and I chose Astrologer as my 1st class too. It was definitely difficult but rewarding especially once you reach 60+ int. Right now I'm on my second playthrough but this time I decided to create another save file, a no magic and NPC summons only run. I chose Warrior because I love the clothes and it was a struggle since I'm used to long range and now I have to do melee. But I'm having so much fun. Anyway I can't wait for part 2! You'll be going to the haven for mages. 😝😂
Keep doing these it was really enjoyable Im on my first playthrough of elden ring rn and its also my first souls game and this was like exactly the things that happend to me in stormveil castle lol
As someone who recently finished both the base game and the DLC 100% as an Astrologer, all I can say is that it really is casual mode. And no, Comet Azur just sucks, especially after the recent nerf of the 0 FP cost tear, so don't get your hopes up for it. Night Comet, Great Glinstone Shard, Rock Sling, Adula's Moonblade, DMGS and Lusat are all you'll ever need. Well, maybe normal Comet, too. Early game Meteorite staff is the best, then Lusat. Staff of Loss for offhand 30% boost to Night Comet (no need to upgrade it). Moonveil also works fine before you get DMGS. Malenia took 6 tries solo, PCR took just two, but I summoned Mimic for him. Still, it really was an easy playthrough. Definitely easier than the STR build I played on release (also did 100%). Checked my save with cheat engine, 197 deaths total. Compare that to 294 from STR build. And that's without playing the DLC. Heck, I even had to Greatshield poke most tree spirits on that one and respecced into DEX/ARC just for Malenia. This time, just INT did the trick. But the extra cast speed from DEX is always good, you need 70 to max it. Radagon Talisman gives +30 virtual dex, Azur's Staff gives +50 but increases sorcery costs by 25%. Does not affect incantations' costs, though. Discus of Light/Catch Flame/Pest Threads galore for FTH builds.
I’m excited to try these things out. I really enjoyed my “normal” play through so I think it will be fun to get further with the astrologer build. Thanks for the tips!
@@LittleBeePlays also another tip regarding the Terra Magica: I found it to be almost useless outside of cliff cheesing with Rock Sling and Gideon duel. Just make sure you cap him during your first attempt, when he yaps at the start. Comet Azur+ 0 FP cost tear will actually be useful here, too. You can also place Terra Magica right in front of fog gates, then enter the boss arena and stay on the part of the sigil that's visible on the floor. Fire Giant may be another use for it, just watch the fireballs. You can also try out the Glintstone Icecrag spell for its 100 frostbite per hit, just keep in mind that it has the shortest range out of any projectile attack in the game. Else it would completely outclass all the other glintstone projectile sorceries. Chaining it with Adula's Moonblade, while wearing Ranni's hat, is the best choice, imo.
See, I started as astrologer cuz it's easy mode. Followed a "strongest int build" vid. Now I'm over level 100. Still not into nokron since I'm atrocious at elden ring. Glad I don't take it serious. To laugh look me up on stream 😭
