I’m one of those with mature skin. I’m 60 now and I now have those dark areas under my eyes. Mostly my right eye, which is annoying. 😵💫 I got the Elf color corrector and love it. It’s light weight but does the job. I really appreciate you including us older folks in your recommendations. Now I need to try a few of them.

This is the first of your long-form videos I've watched (I love your shorts!) and it definitely won't be the last. So genuine and fun, plus great reviews. As someone with mature and textured oily skin, I appreciate the fact that you include all of those traits in your reviews and give your opinion on what's a good/bad fit! I'm on a drugstore journey right now after watching some dupe videos and realizing there's no point in spending $50 for something I can get for $10-20, so this video was exactly what I needed. Of course, I still watch the high-end videos too, I haven't left that category completely, lol. Anyway, thanks for a great review video! I've got the NYX Blur sitting on my makeup table but I'm scared to try it, it seemed like it dried down really fast and I wasn't sure I'd be able to get good coverage with it. Your review didn't make me feel much more confident about it! But, I'm about to go browse the Moira site and see how much trouble I can get in there, lol. Thanks!
Love Love Love!! I am going to run to buy the color correct and the eyeliner. I always have transfer by end of the day. Thank you for the over 40 and mature skin recommendations, I think we are left out from a lot of brands and and reviews. I would love a tutorial or more recommendations of products for people over 40 or mature, dry skin. I have avoided a lot of make up because of poor marketing or I end up looking like the crypt keeper by the end of the day with flaking, racoon eyes and settling into fine lines. Thank you!!
Can't wait to see the elf colour correctors in Sweden. I usually use the correctors from Isadora, but they go patchy and heavy in no time.

I love you talking about how those kinds of eyeliners can be a struggle for people with shaky hands! I love makeup but having shaky hands definitely can add some difficulty and it's awesome seeing someone else with shaky hands being so successful with it!
I really appreciate how you talk about textured skin. I don't think I've put makeup on and left it on, I always feel like all it does is accentuate my flaws and texture.
Totally! That’s why I film with the camera I do with zero filters or enhancements! We need to normalize makeup looking textured! Everyone’s does! ❤

The tip of mixing a corrector and a moisturizer together is such a good one, I will have to try! Also, those Moira Cosmetics palettes are so beautiful. As someone who has always had crepey under eyes and circles (seriously, I got the nickname 'Panda' in grade school), I love that you always give options for texture and mature skin. I have been using your nyx serum recommendation since you gave it; it works wonderfully, lasts all day, and lasts forever! (Seriously, I need to little of it.)

Thank you Johnny for the info on those different colors to help hide under eye darkness. I have pale skin & have a hard time hiding the dark under eye area-foundation alone doesn’t really help. I’ll be trying the blue that you talked about👍🏼 Any tips on foundation for pasty pale people? I just recently started watching your little shorts and I was intrigued at the fact that you don't do what so many others do and promote expensive products that no one can afford. The only problem I have is that many of the products that you do promote are not available in Canada. Which really sucks. But Elf is and it's one of the makeup products that I seem to lean towards. But I have noticed that their prices too have gone up over this past year. So thank you for your input and honesty

Another tip about color correcting darkness if your darkness is more brown than bluish go for peachy correctors that have more of a yellowy undertone (ex the Pixi corrector) and bluish darkness with more orangey or pinky (ex the elf, sigma or Smashbox) Becca correctors) undertones depending on your skin tone.
I have this playing while I do skin care. I haven’t even worn makeup since becoming a mom 2 years ago so I don’t have a huge interest in it currently but listening to you talk about it is just relaxing to me 😂🖤

Thank you so much for posting a wide range of economic beauty choices. Inflation is hard right now and it's difficult to justify $30 mascaras, so having reasonably priced drug store alternatives without sacrificing quality is helpful, and you're so good at making recommendations.
