I loveeeeee how you put the ingredients on the box below and especially grams and cups that’s so helpful I loveee corn flakes finally I found a good recipe thanks so much 🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️
These Afghan Biscuits are crunchy, sweet and chocolatey. Made from corn flakes and topped with chocolate icing, it isn't hard to see why these are such a classic in New Zealand!
Loved the taste and crunchiness but mine spread completely into one big cookie, there was no shape left. Any idea on how that happened? I used your metric recipe.
Love the video, got me feeling so nostalgic for kiwi baked treats. I have a question for you though. My mix ended up spreading a lot in the oven and the end result was really thin biscuits, why does this happen? Do I need to put the mixture in the fridge before I bake them?
This seems like a great recipe I’m gonna try it soon, Seems really nice and delicious, You make so much nice and yummy food I can’t wait to try making it with my family. Have a great day :)
@@recipesbycarina Ah! Thanks so much for the reply! I didnt even see it 🤦🏻♀️ I'm convinced I cant live without them. Isnt it funny how your must have shift as you grow up 😂🤷🏻♀️ Do you know what size the Mason Cash Cane bowl you creamed the butter & sugar in is by any chance? ❤
Hello, I am Afghan ethnicity and I can tell you this is not Afghan biscuit. This is not our cultural biscuit at all… I’m very confused as to why you titled/called this “Afghan” biscuit.
I was confused too but I think they're called that because the biscuit is like the mountainous landscape of Afghanistan, there is also another theory that they were invented in the 19th century Anglo-Afghan war
I will enjoy this new recipe for breakfast tomorrow with my coffee...it will be legal because of the corn flakes!
I like your thinking 😊 Perfect breakfast!

I explain all of this on my website 😊 these are a New Zealand biscuit

Kiwi wives made these for their husbands fighting for your ass in Afghan... Hence the name
