@schoolneverteach Oh Noooooooo!!!! Well, after all said and done, nobody can say you don't have a sense of humor. Hopefully, the streak of theft ends today.
As I like to say, just ride the goddamn thing. it's come to my attention that some motorcycle riders will do everything than actually ride the damn thing.
My bike's name is "Bubbles". Most of my friends are Harley riders and I ride a Goldwing...the joke was that it sounds quiet like a bubble maker. So I ran with it and it stuck.
That bubble maker is gonna run forever! Love the look of Harleys but that Honda build is bulletproof. Here's to many more years of safe riding with... Bubbles! Good stuff 👍
2001 Deuce - "MEDUSA" and that name was just accidental. Asked by a guy in a gas station asked who's bike it was, and Isaid "that's my Deuce"..my.wofe said it sounded like I said Medusa, so, it stuck
I don't currently name mine, but for those in the comments saying that naming your vehicle is for pansies; people have been affectionately naming their vehicles since WW1, and both the vehicles and the airmen/tankers/truckers back than are much tougher than you can ever hope to be~ It was encouraged back in the day, so that crews would take care of their equipment better too. Personally? If I was shopping for a used bike, and the previous owner went as far as to give his bike a name? There's a decent chance that bike was well taken care of, rather than the dude who's selling 'just another GXSR'.
Great comment!!! A lot of truth spoken and that's one reason I lean towards buying new rather than used even though my Honda Shadow was used, it was from the chief of police which has to stand for something. I value everyone's opinion especially if it causes no harm and I think you hit the nail on the head with this one. Love hearing the names and stories from other riders. It's a great community and this little 7 minute video has brought out a lot of conversations that have made me smile. Here's to another!
75' XS650 named Thumper for the headaches she gave me rewiring her after her harness caught fire. I've had a Sportster for 4 years now , she hasn't told me her name yet.
Fitting name after all that! 🔥 I keep telling myself I wanna get an old motorcycle to mess with but the good news is every year I wait my 2011 gets closer to what I want. Enjoy your ride bud and no more fires, please!
Mine has a few names: Raya the Rebel. Lately since I found out it’s made in Thailand, I’ve been calling it “the Thailand Express.” My scooter is Stella. 😂
My bike doesn’t have a name other than what Yamaha gave her- MT10. I haven’t named any of the bikes that I’ve owned. I’m not opposed to it; I just never seem to think of anything that fits and I don’t really place any importance on it. I don’t take issue with anyone that names their bike; I just haven’t ever done it myself. Between a wife, two kids, two dogs, and a cat, I have enough names to remember already. 😆
Surprise, surprise, we have the same mindset here. I remember you mentioning you didn't name your motorcycle in a video a while ago, and with the new bike in your life, I see you still have the same logic. The comments left behind have certainly been entertaining, and we are in the minority. People have overwhelmingly responded that they name their motorcycles and have some pretty good stories on why. As for you, that's not just a lot of names to remember, but a lot of birthdays!!! 😅
Well I had. 2012 Honda Shadow the phantom version I tended to call that the phantom. Next was a triumph Thunderbird Lt. I called that one the Thunderbird now I’ve got. Scout bobber I guess I call it the bobber so I guess I have a little issue naming my bikes
@FYERFlGHTER thanks bro! Yeah I'm loving it...and I've never rode a day in my life. My first ride will be on that bike. I'm making videos of the progress.
I'm not necessarily a fan of all motorcycles based on appearance, but I am a fan when it comes to riding them. I would venture to say I love my bike but it's also my first one of many (I hope).
I called mine "My Bike". This way I don't feel embarrassed saying to the wife I'm going out with My Bike. Or I'm going to clean My Bike. Or telling my friends I spent 3 hours today riding My Bike. No one thinks I'm weird. 🤓
I had a 2015 Jeep Patriot with an engine you could balance a dime on but a dog water trans and horrid 1st gear, my friends named it Lurch, and just recently i bought my first bike, which ALSO has a weird 1st gear so they affectionately named it Lurch Jr.
This is great! Well, except for getting jostled. Going into 2nd gear for me is a bit spicy but I just have to ease into it or I would be using Lurch III. I just read your comment out loud at work and you got a few more laughs. Thanks for sharing!
What's the name of your motorcycle???
No motorbike but many bicycles. Some of their names are: stolen, stolen and stolen. 😅
@schoolneverteach Oh Noooooooo!!!! Well, after all said and done, nobody can say you don't have a sense of humor. Hopefully, the streak of theft ends today.
2017 Harley-Davidson FLHTP Electra Glide Police - affectionately nicknamed "Pig."
Perfect 👌
"Small Package". My Jeep is "The Total Package".
I believe you
Dr Black. He's my therapist.
Amen!!! Never gets stale
I'll name a motorcycle when I can call it and it will come to me
Tesla???
As I like to say, just ride the goddamn thing. it's come to my attention that some motorcycle riders will do everything than actually ride the damn thing.
Not lying. Some of the cleanest statues are in people's garage.

😆 That’s great! I love it when people don’t take things so seriously.

A name with a story to match. Good stuff! 👍

I haven't named my bike, when I talk to it, I just call it baby.
Fair enough. Gotta sweet talk it a little here and there especially if she's low on fuel!
Goosebumps, Cream Pie, and Naaimasjien
Now those are some names! Goosebumps takes me back!!! Do you have a purple or green bike to match?

Love that the scooter has a name too. Keep doing your thing! 💪

❤I choose not to. The name would be really stupid if I tried and my bike doesn't deserve that😊
Yeah, I couldn't bring myself to it, but to each their own. I did name my beach cruiser Black Thunder since it makes zero sense.
Well I had. 2012 Honda Shadow the phantom version I tended to call that the phantom. Next was a triumph Thunderbird Lt. I called that one the Thunderbird now I’ve got. Scout bobber I guess I call it the bobber so I guess I have a little issue naming my bikes
No issue whatsoever and you let the company do the hard work on naming your new bike. Perfect 👌
My first bike is the one im currently building from the ground up...1974 yamaha tx500...naming it never came to mind to be honest.
Just hit the Google and I wanna see an old bike like that in the wild. Gonna be a heck of a story for you soon I hope. Good luck!
@FYERFlGHTER thanks bro! Yeah I'm loving it...and I've never rode a day in my life. My first ride will be on that bike. I'm making videos of the progress.
Oh no way! I'm gonna have to check it out!
Yamaha Raider "Raze"
Nice bike!!!
@@FYERFIGHTERThanks! You as well!
2012 Fat Boy Lo, named Fat Boy cause its already perfect
Love the Fat Boys... That sounds weird but you know what I mean. My first Harley will either be the Fat Boy or Low Rider S. Year 2030 🤣
@@FYERFIGHTER low rider S is a bad ass bike bro, but cannot go wrong with either one!
It depends on how it's running.
I hear ya. I talk to my bike when the low fuel light comes on and I'm somewhat away from civilization.
I always planned to name my bike, but I haven't grown attached to it. I love riding it, but I don't love it. It's still just a piece of steel to me.

@@FYERFIGHTER I called my ex the ole lady all the time, and I was the ole man
I have an 04 Harley duece(doose) and my girlfriend decided to name it goose 🪿😂
Well, the girlfriend or wife gets strong voting rights. As long as you get to ride, she can call it whatever she wants!!!
