I don't know if anyone else gets the depth of the password joke, but the reason Scott is able to get in isn't because those guys don't care or he actually knows the password, but it's because he's such a bad boyfriend that even though he was brushing it off, that's exactly what Gideon did. The passwords were "whatever" & "ugh" because Gideon and Scott are exactly the same in that respect.
I don’t think jokes for this series are that serious, I’m pretty sure it’s just because they were edgy teens

If you think he’s overthinking it, I don’t think you’ve seen the rest of writer/director Edgar Wright’s movies. He’s known for having incredibly dense jokes in his movies so there’s a good chance that password bit was genuinely thought out to that level.

5:13 is honestly one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie. Yes, the style throughout the film is like a comic or, more accurately, a graphic novel, But seeing the faces of the main cast all side-by-side in pure shock gives each of them more character. Most normal movies would just show one or two of the reactions to seeing the protagonist get stabbed through the heart.
I only just now noticed that Kim flips off Gideon during the Sex Bob-omb intro

@@guts-141And that ultimately killed the cartoon. They should have delivered the cartoon art style comic of the book and the original story... then done the Ramona Flowers show in the vein of the Fate 'alt run' series.

@Agtsmirnoff Gideon literally captures his exes, brainwashes them, and traps them in cryosleep. So him making a racist joke is the least of the reasons he’d be canceled. Admittedly the comic does a better job showing this side of Gideon then the movie did. The joke in the comic is that Scott doesn’t expect him to legitimately be a evil mastermind when he meets him because all the other evil exes who we think are evil are proven to just be flawed angry people that want revenge cause Romana was a bad girlfriend.

Juno : LEGO!
(Juno kicks Haru)
Legoshi : Juno! stop!
Juno : You stole him from me!
Legoshi : No! she didn't! I cheated on you.
Juno : What?
Legoshi : I cheated on both of you... I'm Sorry.
(Juno and Haru speechless, until Riz kills Legoshi by stabbing him in the chest)
Legoshi : AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Riz cheated by coming back from the dead : game... Over...!
(Legoshi dies, and wakes up moon)
Legoshi : oh... what happened? I can't die... not yet...
(Legoshi uses his extra life and Level reseting back at the entance of the party)
Legoshi walking to the party : Mmm...

i know some of it is stunt double but when the close up happen and michael's face is visible he looks damn good in the fights. Like he has great form

The delivered of that line was so cold and menacing
