One of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. Physical Graffiti is an epic album filled with brilliant music. In The Light is my favorite Zep song. You ought to react to that gorgeous song. Keep up the great work!
This one is at the top of the Led Zeppelin hierarchy. It is beautifully written, played, and produced. Perfectly ethereal and one that makes you reminisce and think of lost moments...
Hands down a 10/10. One of the greatest Zeppelin songs ever created. This is the only song that I have watched you rate that I do not agree with, but we all have different styles of music that we like. I would listen to the song again and then see what you think about it. :)
As the years pass and you more fully absorb Zeppelin’s catalog this song will rise on your favorites list. 30 years ago it wasn’t in my top 20, now it’s in my top 3.
Definitely, in my top 5 favorite songs of all time, by any artist. This song grows on you, as you listen to a more often. And then you realize it is an absolute gem.
This song appeals directly to the heart & is an arrow to the heart, recalling those poignant moments we've all had when looking back on our first love. That's what Robert was writing about & doing so beautifully. Definitely one of my favorites. Always makes me misty. Thanks, Polo.🩵✨️🩵
Most hard core Zeppelin fans definitely put this into their top ten if not top three Zep songs of all time. Suggest you listen to it another time or two to appreciate the production and Jimmy's guitar orchestration.
This song in my opinion showcases the mastery of Jimmy Page in the studio more than any other song. The layering of the guitars and counter rhythms he comes up with is absolutely brilliant. The guitar solo in my opinion are top 5 favorite guitar solos ever. It’s not too flashy but the intensity and emotion are so moving that it grips me every time I listen to it.
I've been listening to Zeppelin for over 30 years and this is my favorite; it still give me chills most of the times I hear it. I enjoy your videos thoroughly, though. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Polo. Happy holidays!
This song is one of the most epic and prolific ballads of the 1970s. They played this on their epic 1977 US tour and John Paul Jones played his triple necked acoustic instrument and bass pedals simultaneously on this tour. Jimmy Page played his 1953 Fender Telecaster equipped with a b-bender on it. There are epic live performances of this song from that 1977 US tour. They last played the song on Aug 4th, 1979 at the Knebworth Festival. The song is a 10 out of 10 - no matter what it is compared to. ❤ Great reaction Polo !
Ten Years Gone is my number 1 from Led Zeppelin. As soon as a heard the opening of the song I fell in love with the sound. I've been a huge Led Zep fan before I even heard this track, and it easily took first place for me. Then No Quarter, The Rain Song, Bron Yr Aur 😁
I am 41 & I have been a Zeppelin fan since my mid-teens. I am studied them & I know their discography through & through. Ten Years Gone changed my life. I can’t not feel now, after hearing this track hundreds of times over the years, how I felt the very first time I heard it. This song runs through my veins, but I also know all the lyrics & that helps. It’s in my top 5, without question ❤
Like others have said, this songs grows on you. It’s a creeper, it may not be one of the flashiest songs, but it’s so damn good. After so many years of listening to them, I think this song is up there towards the top of my list. I remember the first time hearing Physical Graffiti and Kashmir blew me away and I remember liking this song, but now I think this is the best of that album.
Your comment about Zep coming up with new sounds is spot on! The Beatles were the same way, almost every song sounded different, yet you knew who the band is.
OMG are you kidding me Polo????? This is a love song talking about remembering what love was after time past. Everything they do is so different from the previous tunes. Who out there could match the diversity within their songs. Love this song. One of my favorites.
Polo, I absolutely ❤ your comment on them being "the ultimate creatives" and that is so spot on! We never knew what the next track would song like, we just knew that in all likelihood we would ❤ it! Thanks
Love everything they do! Whatever mood I’m in they have a song for each feeling/ mood!! They all have such great things they bring to the music! Genius!RIP John Bonham! ❤❤❤❤
One of my top 5. It has been one of those tunes that always puts me in a laid-back mood and takes me back to a specific time and place. It grows on you.
Sometimes, maybe often times, it isn't because a song is "great" that we like it, but somehow something triggers a connection....it could be related to a certain time in your life....and it might just be one part or sound or the entire tune, but we bond to "something"...Another great react....keep on
You hit the nail on the head. The preference of a song can greatly depend on your mood. This song is great when you reminisce! The bottom line is LZ knows how to hit every emotional state via their entire catalog! Because they are that talented. I love this song!
Zeppelin is not about "greatest hits" but entire albums. That's the way they were made. All the songs make more sense when in context. Pink Floyd, the Who and a few others did this as well.
@@DaveEver-i5f The old vinyl albums with the art on the cover and sleeves, sometimes lyrics, sometimes not. Physical Graffiti had a brilliant sliding die-cut cover that made iconic figures appear in the windows. Even the smell of the vinyl and ink were great, setting down the needle to hear a slight hiss and a few pops, and of course the love and care to properly handle maintain them. The art was at a much higher level all around back then. I think part of the reason music has degraded over the years is due to the physical product being much cheaper, to the point where it doesn't even exist and isn't really owned, so it's much more disposable - kind of like everything else these days.
That is exactly right, Polo. Their approach to music was always innovate, innovate. Do it differently. The result is magnificent. They are hard rock, I don't know about metal....❤❤❤❤ I know what I love. I love this song.
As a Led Zeppelin fan, this is right up there and will definitely grow on you. Was my favourite at one point, You’ve already listened to it but it was a live recording and the studio is much better but you will be blown away by Since I’ve been loving you.
No One sounds like Led Zeppelin? It is just Brilliance!!! Tell me you couldn't just sit down on your couch and with a good stereo, and just let them take you on a musical journey! I love it!!!!
This one is in my top 15 or so for Zeppelin songs. I also happen to see them do this album live as we were the first stop on the tour for this album in the Twin Cities. Amazing concert.
No Zeppelin album is like the one before ! They themselves àlways said they considered themselves a blues band at heart . The original innovators , not imitators ! This particular song is all about thè meaning in the lyrics ! This was another song dedicated to his wife ! Solid 10 !
I remember when this album came out. I bought it on 8-Track tape and literally wore that tape out This is one of my absolutely favs on the album. I'm 70 yrs. old now but it never gets old. Thanks Polo.
So many great songs left to cover. Try Good Time Bad Times, Ramble On, What is and what should never be, tangerine, down by the seaside…that’s off the top of my head. I’m missing plenty of
I like to hear opinions about music that is old, from a deferent generation (with Led Zeppelin it's now your grandparent's generation), and watch younger people go ... Oh, so that's the world my grandparents listened to ! Your channel is fun like that. And everyone in the comments talks about this music from an age gone by. In so many ways Zeppelin's music is always an acquired taste, it gets better the more you listen to it.
You absolutely got them!!!! What you said on this video is EXACTLY what makes them still so popular to this day!! Creativity is exactly what they are! Whoops I texted too soon? Lol! I like what you said at the beginning only? Lol!
In the top 3 of my favorite Zep songs, of course the number one spot is always whatever Zep song is being played.
What a great answer. I highly Agree!❤️😊
Great comment!!!
This one, will grow on you over time, unappreciated classic that just gets lost in all the masterpieces! 👊
One day, treat yourself to listening to the whole Physical Graffiti album. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.
Exactly!
True Zeppelin fan would put this in top 10
One of my favorite Zeppelin tunes. Physical Graffiti is an epic album filled with brilliant music. In The Light is my favorite Zep song. You ought to react to that gorgeous song. Keep up the great work!
In the Light has always had such a nice positivity with such well-balanced dynamics. It really is underappreciated.
One of zeppelin's absolute best, extremely underrated.
This one is at the top of the Led Zeppelin hierarchy. It is beautifully written, played, and produced. Perfectly ethereal and one that makes you reminisce and think of lost moments...
This is my favorite Zep tune, for me, no contest ❤
This song is a masterpiece.
The most versatile band that we’ll ever know. The layered guitars in this song are epic.
This song is a 10 all day
Good thing about Zeppelin is there is something for every mood.
i have been listening to Led Zepplin for 50 years, still rockin!!!!!!!!!

Yes
Hands down a 10/10. One of the greatest Zeppelin songs ever created. This is the only song that I have watched you rate that I do not agree with, but we all have different styles of music that we like. I would listen to the song again and then see what you think about it. :)
Led Zeppelin is a VIBE. We do not skip Led Zeppelin tracks on an album. Lol!
The melancholia hits me in the heart-just the inevitability of it; Ten out of ten.
Love this one. In my top 3 for sure. I’ve been a fan over 40 years. I think it’s beautiful & it rates right up there with Stairway to me.
As the years pass and you more fully absorb Zeppelin’s catalog this song will rise on your favorites list. 30 years ago it wasn’t in my top 20, now it’s in my top 3.
Robert’s tender “oh, darlin”s. ❤
This one ages like fine wine. Give it another listen
Definitely, in my top 5 favorite songs of all time, by any artist. This song grows on you, as you listen to a more often. And then you realize it is an absolute gem.
I absolutely LOVE this song!
This one grows on you. I came to really love this song.
One of their greatest....which is saying a lot.
Love this track, a softer side of Zeppelin, I find it truly beautiful
I listen to all Led Zeppelin songs consistently.
After all these years they take me to another world. I’m always blown away by their genius ❤
Absolutely fabulous song!! As they all are!
Most hard core Zeppelin fans definitely put this into their top ten if not top three Zep songs of all time. Suggest you listen to it another time or two to appreciate the production and Jimmy's guitar orchestration.
EVERY Led Zepplin song is my favorite
Yeah, I LOVE this song. "Physical Graffiti" is probably my favorite Led Zeppelin album, and this is one of my favs on the album.
My favorite Zep song and maybe my fav some ever. Still gives me goosebumps
This song in my opinion showcases the mastery of Jimmy Page in the studio more than any other song. The layering of the guitars and counter rhythms he comes up with is absolutely brilliant. My favorite Led Zeppelin song!!
This is probably their best, speaking from the heart
I've been listening to Zeppelin for over 30 years and this is my favorite; it still give me chills most of the times I hear it. I enjoy your videos thoroughly, though. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Polo. Happy holidays!

Hell yeah!
I wish they would’ve done this song with their No Quarter album they did. I think it would’ve been so great with a string arrangement
Everything Zeppelin does, sounds like a masterpiece ✨️
Ten Years Gone will be one of your favorites once you are more familiar with it !
My all time favorite Zeppelin song
They allowed us to navigate their musical journey with them. What a great band
Kind of a dreamy, rainy day song. I've heard it but never listened this close. Very nice.
Great Track.. the best thing about Led Zeppelin is not every song is a popular one with everyone, but almost every song by them is absolutely epic.
This and the Rain Song are top notch
Achilles Last Stand, Im Gonna Crawl, Tea For One, No Quarter too
Aaaaahhh, The Rain Song. It's perfect.
Yes Indeed!
I am 41 & I have been a Zeppelin fan since my mid-teens. I am studied them & I know their discography through & through. Ten Years Gone changed my life. One of my favorite Zep songs! Love when you get the "stank" face Polo...🥰
Polo, I absolutely ❤ your comment on them being "the ultimate creatives" and that is so spot on! We never knew what the next track would song like, we just knew that in all likelihood we would ❤ it! Thanks
This song is a masterpiece. Led Zeppelin were so ahead of their time. ❤
One of my top 5 Led Zep songs
To be honest I can't put a ten best song list together of Led Zeppelin, it just keeps changing every time I listen to one of their albums.
Love everything they do! Whatever mood I’m in they have a song for each feeling/ mood!! They all have such great things they bring to the music! Genius!RIP John Bonham! ❤❤❤❤
Luv this song. One of my favorites
One of my top 5. It has been one of those tunes that always puts me in a laid-back mood and takes me back to a specific time and place. It grows on you.
It's another 10 out of 10 from probably my favorite led Zeppelin album. One of those albums that you have to listen to all four sides.
Restarting a Zeppelin song is never a mess up ! 👍
In my top ten for zeppelin. The raw emotion and build is why. I see it in your reaction, you really get it ❤
This a favorite for me. But then again every Zeppelin song is my favorite at the time I'm listening to it lol.
My favorite Zeppelin song.
Ten years gone is melancholic, reflective, and awesome 👌
It uses the D Mixolydian mode to create that sound. Sad, yet happy memories. Many guitarists called it the ‘Ten Years Gone” scale.
Sometimes, maybe often times, it isn't because a song is "great" that we like it, but somehow something triggers a connection....it could be related to a certain time in your life....and it might just be one part or sound or the entire tune, but we bond to "something"...Another great react....keep on
This is one of my favorite song of theirs!

That little part that you liked is one of jimmy’s undeniable riffs, after all, he is the quintessential riff maker.
Zeppelin is not about "greatest hits" but entire albums. That's the way they were made. All the songs make more sense when in context. Pink Floyd, the Who and a few others did this as well.
I just finished typing the same thing. I’d love to see him really take in entire albums.
YAY ALBUM ROCK!!!

Absolutely a favorite of mine. I love their rocking songs, but it's nice to hear a more ballad-like tune that still has that driving sound.
That is exactly right, Polo. Their approach to music was always innovate, innovate. Do it differently. The result is magnificent. They are hard rock, I don't know about metal....❤❤❤❤ I know what I love. I love this song.
When I bought that album when it first came out I listened to this song over and over. Great album like all their albums.
Different styles of sound that's what makes them so great
As a Led Zeppelin fan, this is right up there and will definitely grow on you. Was my favourite at one point, You’ve already listened to it but it was a live recording and the studio is much better but you will be blown away by Since I’ve been loving you.

People really enjoy watching people react to music they love,me included. It’s kinda like hearing it for the first time again.
Has always been my favourite LZ track. So full of melancholy. Give it time, it will climb your list.
