    This medical interactive animation describes about "coronary stent procedure" made by scientific animations. Jad three stents about 1 1/2 years ago. Some pain after they were installed for about 18 hours. Like a sore muscle that keeps moving. Recovered quickly afterwards, just the mental realization that we can go at anytime.

    My dad had 4 stents in his artery but he developed some issues after 1 year and we have to go for CABG. Our surgeon told has that if a person has more than 2 stents and then if they need bypass it becomes difficult for surgeon to do surgery that’s why my father had On-Pump surgery whereas Off-Pump could not be done due to multiple stents. So please take care everyone and take decisions

      Sorry to hear of your problem. We are lucky to be in the UK - my husband is in hospital after having a heart attack last Saturday. They will be performing this procedure in the next 24/48 hours and we will not have to pay a penny. We all contribute to the National Health Service via National Insurance which is a stoppage on your salary - its only about £5 in every £100 but it means we get excellent health care at no cost to us. My husband has already had cancer and six months of surgery/chemo/radiotherapy (no cost to us) followed by lots of medication which, as he cannot work any more, he gets free too. We are SO lucky and grateful for our brilliant NHS.

    Very poor rendition-artery walls requiring a stent are plugged with buildup. Some doctors simply have the stent press the calcified buildup to the artery's wall. But flowing platelets will eventually build up on stent & leakage of buildup. You must clean walls FIRST USING A "Diamond Back 360" or similar device to eliminate calcification. I dislike these med videos that are wholly inadequate for a patients's need to know !

    According to my Cardiologist, nothing will dissolve the thrombosis and it will always be there. According to this video, it will dissolve. Which is true?

    • @Cactus270
      @Cactus270 3 роки тому +2

      Drug-eluding stents, which is the medical standard these days, release medication over time to dissolve thrombus. The drug breaks down the thrombus and the stent expands until at full capacity and locks in place permanently. Metal stents, which is rarely used these days, do not dissolve thrombus and just open your blockage back up. This practice is rare these days as drug eluding stents are usually 100% as safe as metal stents. Only rarely will you not be able to get a drug eluding stent
