Thank you Whirly Bloke for another terrific review video. Your videos consistently deliver informative, interesting, and entertaining content. I REALLY appreciate your efforts. I love the RadioMaster products that I've used. I use a RadioMaster Pocket transmitter every day with my 7" DIY build and it contains a RadioMaster RP3 receiver which has antenna diversity but is not true Gemini diversity. I plan to purchase one of those USB flasher gizmos but I don't plan to purchase the true Gemini receiver until RadioMaster comes out with a Gemini transmitter module to put on the back of the Pocket. I'm sure it won't be long. I watched your build videos several times while I was building my 7" and found the info very valuable. Thanks again. I hope you have a happy, healthy, and prosperous 2024. Happy flying amigo! 🍻
I read that both listen, but only one is receiving, but idk which side is receiving cuz you can really only mount one at the back and the other antenna on an arm or something
What happened to the day when you bought a Rx and you simply installed it and it worked flawlessly with nothing else needed? Today it is jumping through hoops and constantly flashing, upgrading etc etc etc...I believe these companies become their own worst enemies with constant need to flash/upgrade whatever. Before selling it, how about simply create what is needed BEFORE doing so ? ...LOL
Such is the world of rc and fpv. It's a constant learning curve and mostly, thats what makes it endless fun. Having said that, ELRS flashing and binding is trivial compared to the bad old days.
I have flown model and Heli aircraft for decades and have flown kwads since they came out, it was as a simple time and little need for all the added "musts" one has to do on an almost daily basis . Tech advancements are not always a Good thing, when they are NOT perfected and QC'ed before release . And when these companies get the $$ in their eyes the push for the "next big thing" eliminates that QC and why we end up with endless flashes and updates , I do not call that trivial, I call that a Royal pain in the butt-crack@@WhirlyBloke

How many channels does it have
Good review video
Thanks.
So if i use that rp4td receiver without a gemimi module, does it just use one antenna or antenna diversity?
Sorry, I've no idea, but I'll see if I can find out.
