I’m dying to see the numbers on subsonic 300 blackout with the JL!
Curious to see how the CAT JL performs on 300 blackout. CAT claims It slightly outperforms the ODB on subsonic ammo
We don't have an ETA but the 300BLK suppression performance is high.

How do you think the JL will perform on a magnum host? CAT emailed me and said it will indeed handle 300 win and 300 Norma. I just wonder how the additional pressure will affect the performance if at all.
Given what we understand so far about the SNIPER2 technology, we postulate relatively high performance on magnum rounds, relative to other 30 caliber rifle silencers, in general. 300 Norma should be a bit louder than .308, in general, with all silencers. But, that testing will happen at a later date. Hope this helps!
Morning Jay! I already have a planned host for when I get a MOB. I’m gonna build out a 8in 9mm CMMG Banshee with their radial delayed blowback that goes on a regular M4 lower with their conversion mags and mess with springs and buffers and make it a freaking laugh fest.

I wonder how the Johnny law would work on a 6 creedmoor or a 243... If I remember right the Hyperion was great on a 308 but sounded just as good on a 6.5 creed?
I suspect the JL would do very well on 6.5. The Hyperion does pretty well on 6.5CM, actually.

I am curious as to why you guys don't really present or characterize against frequency spectrum audio, most of your reported analysis data that you report are transient or time domain vs amplitude data. I tend to think that you could characterize resonance and perceived better sounding performances. I hear most people talk about "tone" to describe how a suppressor sounds, and that is a frequency related term. The analog audio spectral analysis would be very interesting data. Frequency or tone has applications for how far the sound will travel and how long it will remain audible. Not just "at the shooters ear" kind of data.

@@dsparker08 it will certainly work, sir. ODB may be the answer if you want lower backpressure. It's not that the JL won't perform well, but it is not as intended for semiautos as the ODB.
I've got my setup tuned pretty well with a nomad, I'd rather have better sound suppression over lower back pressure
Jay have you seen the Fischer development/kgm fd917 and fd919 Glock specific frame mounted suppressors ?
