At 8.25 the man was telling you about the elephant 🐘 on the road. My wife is Thai - we think your videos in Thailand are fantastic. You are so funny together, loving this series. Thank you ❤
At 8.26 I was in tears. The bloke with the mushrooms talking at you both, Rich went hhmm, Ewa said oh, what's he saying, Rich er no idea. Stay safe both...
Great vid as always guys 👍🏼 Ewa , I would just like to say ! Ride a bit closer to Rich on those roads with Elephants!!! Wouldn’t want you getting split up should they appear 🤔 with you all the way on the food though!! Wouldn’t eat it unless I knew exactly what it was 😂😂😂
Loving this series guys...and it just goes to show that you really do not need a "mighty GS" to have fun. Indeed I reckon the RE's are the ideal machine for the riding you are doing...
Another great day on the road, thank you both! I can almost bet that Ewa grew up close to a farm or in the countryside, she's such a brave girl willing to try all the food, and enjoy a proper food experience. Sorry for you Rich, you must hungry all the time 😁👍
Know how you feel Rich I'm exactly the same every time I head back to Thailand with my Thai partner (from Aus) especially seeing as her family live in rural Thailand I struggle with the food as well. Hua Hin is a good place to get some western food as you've found out plenty of Ferang there.
We had a memory moment when you mentioned panda pops! You two work really well together and you both make us laugh. .. Didn't realise what a wind up merchant Ewa is
In Thailand, Thai people's attitude is friendly. You can walk alone without worrying that someone will hurt you. But if you have a problem, you ask them for help. They will be willing to help you without expecting anything in return.
Love your channel - just found you guys and started watching as your on Royal Enfields but now I’m hooked on your adventures. Much love from Australia .
Enjoying your adventure. Papaya not mangoes. If you come across a restaurant like in 36:40 - they would make anything you want. If you can handle fried rice, ask for “Khao Pad” they’ll make it for you. Words to remember when ordering food. Not spicy - Mai Ped Chicken - Gai Pork - Mhoo Safe travels.
Great stream . it just goes to show that you don't need a 40k bike to enjoy a trip like this . Great bikes and very impressed with the ride quality that you seam to be enjoying . Well done mate at least you tried to eat something different lol. I think that you tried pigs balls lol . Should have gone for a local sausage . Fantastic trip of a life time . Jealous lol. keep them coming . Ride safe love ya both 👍👍👍❤
Your hapiness and optimism is infectious , I used to travel before the days of mobile phones , I did'nt realise they could conk out when the temperature got high... i think i would maybe want to carry a map also. You are an inspiration for me to cram in another trip one day soon. 🏞
Going well on the bike Ewa ive been riding for 50 odd years and to see you having the confidence to ride in the middle of Bangkok especially on a bike your not used to well done. Love your blogs guys keep up the good work and if you have the time then head Nth up to the Mae Hong Soon loop you'll love the Twisties.👍 Love from OZ ❤
Thanks so much! Where Rich goes, I follow! We will go North soon then... We have plenty of time here to explore so welcome any suggestions of places to visit
Sorry Eva not Ewa yeah if you head up that way nice little town called Pai a bit touristy in high season but nice weather this time of the year and plenty of western food for Rich. Just be careful on the Rd up there 700 plus corners lots of hairpins but what a Rd 😍
Great video again. Enjoying seeing Thailand through your eyes and laughing at how Eva is always teasing Rich … she’s one funny girl. Y’all forget about the lizards … 🦎 they don’t harm anything other than small insects and they never fall off the wall or ceiling. I grew up with lizards in my tropical house and the only problem was having to clean up their tiny poops. Just steer clear of monitors. 😁
Amazing video. I love watching your videos. It's better than watching come dancing 😂, how many times did you say elephants poo😂. I think you are really enjoying this journey.
Loving the Thailand Videos guys.. an Ex pat Thailand 21 years living in Lamphun and working the local Factories there I can tell you the best is still to come! just wait till you get to the Super Highway and go over the mountains to the Lamphun and Chiang Mai area... BIG C is where Rich can have so great food and the Northern special dish "Koy Soi Kha" drive into Lamphun Town and next to the Haripunchi Temple is the BEST small "Koy Soi Kha" shack/restaurant.. So real history around the area too and MASSIVE Monk Temples .. Watch out for the driving rule MIGHT IS RIGHT! Keep it SAFE! Ronnie & Wan
Maybe your expectations are not high is because your doing what you love best, riding your bikes on empty roads and no particular time to be anywhere. And most importantly no rain😊
Im a little late but the sausage you tried att the small shop is kalled sai kov. Made of pork and rice and sometimes nudels same yours. They come in different flavors. I like the sour one the best. You eat them with canned ginger, chili and cucumber together and is just great 👍
Amazing video again! I am loving your adventures off the beaten track. But OMG that snake, it does occasionally happen to see them on the road or in the trees. It looks like you are both having a blast and I can't wait to watch your next video.
not mangos, thats papaya 😂 Papayas growing wild all over the place, we have loads in our garden Everyone goes foraging, plastic bag & a stick Wild elephants in quite a few national parks, some near us at Nam Nao national park on route 12 which traverses east/west mid Northern Thailand The sausages on bbq, is rice & marinated fermented pork - saigot moo ping, eva they were perfectly cooked, nice with sweet chilli sauce & white chinese cabbage, you usually get that in the bag you can get decent thai noodles & rice dishes from 7 Eleven that they microwave for you
Me too, I was yelling at the TV.. “that’s not mango’s that’s papaya!!!” 🤣🤣 You mention the heat.. you’re welcome to visit Florida during the summer, some days it’s over 40 C with high humidity…. You literally melt on your bike. Otherwise enjoying your trip.. go well❣️❣️
We had No idea about the Elephants in the National parks! How amazing and a bit scary at the same time! …. And we were so excited to have found wild mango lol
You've probably seen them but 711 sell ready meals that they will heat up for you at the counter. They are more akin to Thai food you'd find in the UK. Can be quite useful if you don't fancy any of the local food.
An excellent day! Loving the fact you're just winging it on your travels. Well done Rich, you've eaten some "normal" Thai food 👏Shame you didn't see any 🐘, but nice you saw a 🐍 I was expecting you to glow after drinking that luminescent green pop!
Nice video guys and good find, you went round the Sinakharin dam national park. Went through there in April earlier this year, parts of it were on fire with flames crossing the road. Lots of elephant dung as you mentioned, you would'nt want to break down and spend the night out there!
ooh that fruit fresh from the tree! 😋fresh durian food is the next level to try ewa!! i promise you that its not hot 😉 i remember being very surprised when i first saw how pineapples grow! i always thought they hung on a tree ! love you ,bye.. you get my thumb up evrey time.
I'm glad to see you finally had to go at street food. I can honestly say I've never been ill eating their food yet. The road you were on looks amazing. Shame me you never seen any elephants that would have definitely topped it. You can always ask the people at the store to cook them a little bit longer I used to Big thumbs up
Papaya so much nicer than mango and with lime juice on them beautiful. Great video as usual. Should have brought your tent you could have camped in the jumgle!!!
Hey, those fruit at 4.52 are Papaya not Mango. Mangoes grow on large trees with totally different leaves. Lovely trip. Thanks for sharing your advenures. 😀
Next good WiFi service you get to do a UA-cam search for Thai food. Lots of stuff you passed on might change your mind. Plus Google translate is a must. Be safe and enjoy your trip.
Enjoying this Thailand trip with all your phobias Rich you do make me laugh. Englishman abroad not liking the food and those lizards. Watch out for the snakes ....🤣
Thai food restaurants are popular around the globe for a reason! I eat raw fish weekly and never got sick. Really, the meat there is prolly fresher than what I get in the states.
Mad dogs, Englishmen might be out in the midday sun but I think you add us Aussie's into the mix. 30c to us is a winter temp in Queensland. The fruit on the tree was Papaya also known as a Paw Paw in Australia. The green ones you saw aren't ripe they have to be yellow like on the tree in the background of the shot. Mango trees are massive trees that grow to 10 metres or more.
@ontheroadadventure all good is the fun of travelling. Expanding one's horizons and learning stuff while having fun. If we knew everything there is to know travelling would be boring. Loving the series and can't wait for the next one to drop.
Great journey, one you will remember. I feel you would have liked to see wild elephants from a safe distance ? The food, yep you need to be careful. The video quality is really good, your content too. As a Patrion my contribution is small and taxed, how are they allowed to tax a gift ! I am a pensioner and the government are trying to push us into the ground, my small gift is intended to be sustainable and encourage others to do so, as such I share your content, so you can grow.
Thank you so much Paul, we really appreciate all you do for us, every comment, like and share helps to push the channel along and that is what makes it possible for us to make more videos
I don't think it's the leather seats, it's the Gel insets under the seat covering that hold the heat. I added one to my Ducati Pantah and the first time it sat in full 40c sun it was like sitting on a Frying Pan.
Amazing to see someone brought up with English cuisine, not having anything slightly exotic 😂😂 Built an empire on spices, but did not include any of them into thier cooking...😂😂
Some budy is missing the UK the food the rain snow is coming day are milking threes in Thailand the give them some cuts and white milk is coming outside the tree the cal that rubber the hanging containers under it too collect it try a fresch pineapple from the farmers you will never taste a pineapple like that only in Thailand look out four crossing monkeys if you see elephant on the road tell him too go home good luck keep on moving through Thailand many things too see
Great unplanned adventure guys. Loving your attitude of just going and see where you end up. Do you realise that you are now officially “the world’s leading authorities on elephant shit”. At last Rich you tried a bit of the real Thai street food but your face said it all as you spat it back into the bag….”matter over mind” eh? 💩
When youre on wifi try using google translate and download Thai language, that way when you go into a shop or restaurant you can take a picture and it will convert the content for you both, not rocket science
Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?😂. If you put the iPhone in the airstream, it cools down a lot faster I find . So if you have a pocket at your chest, you can give that a try even though you can’t see the phone anymore until it cools down .

I have travelled but when I am reminded through videos like yours it just makes me appreciate Blighty even more 😊
It’s a funny thing, we love to travel and experience new places and things but there’s no reward like getting home again to what you know
Love the banter at the PawPaw [ Mango ?] tree . Priceless !!!! That’s what makes your video’s so good 😂👍
Thanks so much! We really thought it was mangoes 😂

Soo Enjoying Thailand on your bikes, lovely
Glad you like them!
A friend of mine stopped moving in Thailand once... It took him 15 years to get back home... 😂
We can see how that could happen!

not mangos, thats papaya 😂 Papayas growing wild all over the place, we have loads in our garden
Everyone goes foraging, plastic bag & a stick
Wild elephants in quite a few national parks, some near us at Nam Nao national park on route 12 which traverses east/west mid Northern Thailand
The sausages on bbq, is rice & marinated fermented pork - saigot moo ping, eva they were perfectly cooked, nice with sweet chilli sauce & white chinese cabbage, you usually get that in the bag
you can get decent thai noodles & rice dishes from 7 Eleven that they microwave for you
You beat me to the punch. I was going to comment that it was green papaya. 😊
Me too, I was yelling at the TV.. “that’s not mango’s that’s papaya!!!” 🤣🤣
You mention the heat.. you’re welcome to visit Florida during the summer, some days it’s over 40 C with high humidity…. You literally melt on your bike. Otherwise enjoying your trip.. go well❣️❣️
Cool video guys but it's "we should not HAVE gone this way."....not "OF"...😅
We had No idea about the Elephants in the National parks! How amazing and a bit scary at the same time! …. And we were so excited to have found wild mango lol
Oooops 😂
Bit like a bush tucker trial , great vids
No….this is two decent genuine guys being entirely natural!
Haha every day is like that here!
Cheers Neil 👍

Thanks I don’t think we wanted to meet wild elephants in the road!
Those mango look a lot like pawpaw 😂😂😂
Yes they do 😂 We had no idea!
The sausage has sticky rice and chopped garlic in it, and they are often sour tasting due to the garlic. Acquired tastes.
That sounds about right, glad we tried it though
Papaya so much nicer than mango and with lime juice on them beautiful. Great video as usual. Should have brought your tent you could have camped in the jumgle!!!
Oh we will try it with lime, that sounds great
Hey, those fruit at 4.52 are Papaya not Mango. Mangoes grow on large trees with totally different leaves. Lovely trip. Thanks for sharing your advenures. 😀
Ohhh ok thanks well we like to eat those too!
Hubby says they are not mangoes but pawpaw 😊
See… we are clueless to this place 😂 That’s adventure
Sweet dreams and that was a wonderful gorgeous road, with luckily just 💩 and a big dead snake.
Nature is really unbelievable there, enjoy tomorrow!!!
Everyday is mind blowing here

I would rather that heat than the UK any time and I mean that big time
Now is tolerable god knows how people cope in the summer months here
Absolutely loving the video's guys. Keep them coming.
Thanks! Will do!
Another great video guys I’m like u pal I like my food cooked none off that raw shite 😂

Mango tree, you guys nearly choked me with laughing. City Slickers.
😂😂😂 We were so happy too!!
If I was stuck in the wilderness I would want Ewa with me and not Rich. LOL
That’s a wise choice I’d say 😂
4:55, that is not mangoes, that is British Bananas.🤣
Surely not!
Papaya you will find it mainly in somtam (Thai spicy salad) when it’s green. Once it turns yellow it’s a lot sweeter.
Amazing to see someone brought up with English cuisine, not having anything slightly exotic 😂😂
