I opened my wallet, held my ankles and bought a PS 770 airbrush. Incredible tool in deed. Lots can be said about a well crafted atomized flow and a baby soft and responsive trigger! Best regards to you both!

They are a fantastic brush I am looking forward to really putting mine through it’s paces when creating some art with it over the Christmas break 👍🏻

Softer trigger i could see helping with finger fatigue. I might have to look into that. Outside of base coating or gloss i don't think I'd like the short trigger. Especially for detail. I generally want a longer trigger or a pad on top for detail. But i do think it adds to fatigue. Thanks for this

Correct me if I am wrong but the only reason I can see for replacing the spring and trigger is for helping finger fatigue, but surly if finger fatigue is an issue for so many people why haven’t manufacturers caught on and changed their designs, seems logical to me, perhaps I am missing something, but that’s the way I see it. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experience with us. 👍🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😀

Yes, I think that manufacturers should take a closer look at shorter triggers and softer springs. Sagola, for example has a softer spring as standard and it works nicely with their trigger setup, the only downfall I found with their brushes is a softer needle .

put any trigger spring in you wan't does not matter its about the air pressure going through the airbrush. the air pressure will push on the air valve .invent a air valve that incoming air pressure won't push up.

Exactly what i said but then i realized, the INITIAL force to push the airvalve open is based on the air pressure holding the valve closed (higher pressure more downward force required to push it open), once open the air by passes the valve and so the force generated on pushing the trigger (valve) back up by the air, is minimal and the spring takes over, thus if you have a softer spring , the initial force (like you said) is based on air pressure, but then holding down the valve once the air is flowing is based on the spring, so it is easier to hold down the soft spring for extended periods of time....
