My father was a WWII Naval Aviator. One of his good friends few in the Army Air Corps. He flew C47's over the Hump in Burma. Good to see the planes. Thanks for the show.
Thanks for including us in your day. Whenever I see those bigger planes fully loaded it amazes me how they get off the ground. I’ve watched C17’s in Dover many times. Happy Fathers Day!!
Can't wait for the Andrews airshow this year! 75th anniversary it's gonna be big! I need to take a trip down there sometime. I just came back from the Ocean City airshow. Saw the F-18 Super Hornet, B-25, Hawkeye, Coast Guard SAR demo and the Thunderbirds.
This was awesome - I love your eye abd what you choose to show and zoom in on - I feel like we think alike - I’m looking at something saying to myself I wish he would zoom in on that and you do - amazing. Bravo for bringing your son along - father son time is awesome !!! Happy Fathers Day !!
OMG ! Great show! I've been to Udvar Hazy many times.... never seen live take-offs. T Y Love this Love the military fighters and the historical too!! Awsome
During the Berlin Airlift many of those C-47s had coal shoveled by hand into the aircraft in rigged bins then when they landed at Templhof it was shoveled out into coal trucks to keep the people from freezing and the city operating via steam power. If the load shifted...well that's one bird and crew lost...... Different Day.. Different Standards!
That C-47 is from the Estrella Warbirds museum in Paso Robles California. My son is a docent there. Ironically he and his mother are on a 6 week road trip that included the Air and Space annex at Dulles last week. Just missed it!
It got yanked out a few months ago. Last I checked it was some where in the Pacific. www.vesselfinder.com/vessels/EVER-FORWARD-IMO-9850551-MMSI-563161200
The armed guards and line around the F-22 reminds me when I first saw a F-117.
Me to. That's when they were at Oshkosh air venture
Seeing all those planes makes me miss being in the military. 😢

Betsy's Biscuit Bomber flew in the 75th D-Day commemoration and Berlin airlift celebration.
Yep, the F22 display security reminds of the F117 security at the retiree show at the former MBAFB 🇺🇸👍
