He did go back to electronic music after his hiatus. IRRC, he re-established himself as Fad Gadget around 2001 in order to tour with Depeche Mode in Europe. Unfortunately, he died before he could record more Fad Gadget material.

I regret that Frank Tovey turned his back to the electronic music at the end of his career.However his nice voice goes well with all kinds of music.
He did go back to electronic music after his hiatus. IRRC, he re-established himself as Fad Gadget around 2001 in order to tour with Depeche Mode in Europe. Unfortunately, he died before he could record more Fad Gadget material.
