This is a perfect build! The only thing I would change is to put the induction cooktop at the other end of the kitchen and not next to the bed (which is the best bed set up I've seen!)
Beautiful! What would really be cool is if the bed turns into futon both ways. I could see myself in the morning drinking my coffee while sitting on the futon facing the lake or ocean watching the sun rise or set ❤
Very nice build. It caught my eye that he has his switches and touch screen control panel right above his induction cook top. I can't see the heat and steam being good in that location.
It's practically perfect! The only 2 things I would add are the ability of the futon to face the driver seats and then convert to face the back doors. I would also add some type of oven - I'd pull the space from the queen bed & use a full size bed instead. Everything in this design makes sense.
Interesting setup. The cook top next to the bed? That means you would have to move the bed so while you are cooking, nothing splashes over. The cooktop should have been under the microwave with a fan for exhaust. But it is nice setup.
Did you watch the whole video I'm just asking because the kitchen setup isn't the bed set up there's two different things going on there I was just wondering maybe you commented before you watch the whole video
@@okiedoke6373 Did you not see the cooktop on the passengers side next to the bed when it's lying down? The other side is the microwave . Look at time index 2:41.
I understand what you’re saying. In order to cook, the bed would need to be in futon/couch mode. I think if they put a hidden sliding protector panel next to the cabinet and when you cook, you can leave the bed in it’s position, and just slide up the protector so that the bedding doesn’t get soiled with splatter.
I’d make the front seat table top hinged with a second board so it can be flipped over/out to double the size of it - to be used as kitchen counter extension among other uses.
Really nice! Love the bed conversion and how all the other space is used. I might use a portable 2 burner stovetop instead of the one he has. Makes the countertop area more flexible…..overall nice van!
This is a nice build. I wonder why all of the switches and stuff are right above the stove? Yes absolutely love the bed and the way it works thank you very much again for a really great video😊
Promasters make such good camper vans! That extra width is superb! I especially love the bedroom windows and the pull-out pantry. It's the little things. Thanks for the tour!
I like that cassette it could be traded out for something else you can dump them almost anywhere put them in a bag going to the restroom handle up get out very convenient
Then I'm very appreciative of a pull-out pantry shelves take up a lot of room but they get crowded when you have Cannery on shelves then the stuff in the back very rarely gets seen
Everything nice except the induction cook top right next to the bed. Oops should have watched a little more didn't realize the bed transformed away from cook top😜
This is an awesome and neat build.. i just don't understand why induction cooker is placed near electrical sockets and and switches. Wouldn't the heat cause hazard? But i love how he put Fuses for every cables that goes by..next time i will just go for the fuse first before troubleshoot others. Great set up
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures So, with the location of the bed being where it is, there's no way to exit or enter the van from the rear other than crawling under the bed?
I'm a traveling maintenance man in the New York New Jersey area and I drive a Chevy equinox when honestly I really need an Econoline van. But my job likes me to be discreet and be able to sneak around certain areas without having to pay commercial tolls on bridges where I can go in and out of New York City and not have to pay commercial rates for tolls but I do building maintenance for a bank and I have to put it tremendous amount of hardware and tools into a Chevy equinox and I learn a lot of shit from this show about drawers doors storage shelving I utilize so much of the stuff I learned from the show inside my truck and people are shocked at how much stuff I'm able to fit in the truck and make it look totally normal where it doesn't even look cluttered. I should do a show just on my truck I should roll up on Patrick with my truck. Even though I don't live in it
Comfortable build! What was the finished, fully loaded, total weight? Also, were the heavy items, appliances, components etc. bolted or strapped in? Bed clever but has limited bench seating as the upper cabinets there restrict head room. Maybe refine that a little.
Awesome layout, very well use of space specially considering that it isn't the extended model and truly good looking interior. That being said, I agree 100% with the person that wrote before me, the controls above the stove isn't the idea, and I'll go beyond the heat factor affecting them, imagin needing yo use the control while boiling water for pasta, also, since the stove is an area where your hands moves about a lot (like when steering food), you'll most likely unintentionally touch the screen more than once. Still on the stove matter, my personal view is, the further away from the bed the coocking point is, the better. I'm currently designing my own van, I concluded a none fixed stove is the best way, my idea is to have both, a two burners induction and two burners gas. Nowadays portable induction stoves are very thing and light, and I'd be covered for any scenario.
Extremely well done would buy one if you could figure out extra passengers seat, solar panels you can walk on for roof access, a rear ladder, microwave air fryer, maybe insulated show curtain.....
I had a bathroom as big as that shower in a hotel room once in London like the whole bathroom was the size of that shower crazy That's a huge shower for a van that size
Very NICE craftsmanship Jerry , ....... 27 years as a finish carpenter myself .... Extra points for the Bed/sofa combo 👌👍👍😉 Thanks to Patrick for posting another GREAT van build 👍👍
For me, I think this is almost perfect, almost!, but where is the TV ?,main thing I would change is , less cupboards & more fridge, and also more Water, Battery & solar, for longer more capable free camping & maybe swap the cook top & the sink around, as not a great idea to have cooking next to the bed!, otherwise in general whats not to like! :).
I wonder how many people get together to come up with the ideas that go into these vans because for one person to come up with all these different ideas you'd have to be a super brain to imagine all these things this would take me years to dream up all these different ways of doing things that are totally not standardized in any way there's no code for this there's no specific way you have to do it it's left up to you and your imagination and this guy's got quite an imagination He's able to jam all this shit in this truck and still have a ton of room inside where it almost looks very empty inside where you could be a pretty big person and swing around and move around in there without bumping into stuff
When he slid that bed up into a couch I was startled by how smooth it was! Fantastic build!
This is a perfect build! The only thing I would change is to put the induction cooktop at the other end of the kitchen and not next to the bed (which is the best bed set up I've seen!)
I was also thinking I would want a barrier to the right of the cooktop to keep the bed and stove from coming in contact.
I thought the same thing🤔
I agree. I’d be concerned about the controls being above cooking. Otherwise, pretty perfect!
Yup that was my thought as well food splatter heat ect might be an issue.
From experience, electrical switches and steam dont work. I would not recommend buying that Van, unfortunately.😢
That was my thought too.
Woohoo, Jerry! Fantastic build! And that bed design is ingenious!
Thanks a bunch!

@@kathykeene2092 Exactly. Some kind of protection would have been nice.
@@kathykeene2092, I've seen clear splash guards/panels (plexiglass) used effectively for that.
Love the transforming bed! Having the option for a table with seating is a Win on my wish list.
Love the bed in this van!!!!
Me too
This man is really smart with his design. Best laid out van
I agree
It's stunning, but I'd recommend a larger fridge, and more and larger windows, and at least two burners for cooking. Love the bed/couch combo!
Very nice build, ok price level for what it offers, the hot water solution is a best way to go , thank you
Good lookin' rig...lots of thought went into that build.

Nice van. Thanks Patrick!
You bet
Best of the best
Nice Build
Very functional & clean looking
One of the best bed designs I have seen. ❤
Wow, thank you!
Nice setup for sure.
I think so too!
Love this lay out!!
Wow very nice. Although I didn't buy but I wish it came with a mini washer/dryer

Beautiful build with restful colors and many thoughtful features. I wonder how those tiles hold up as the van flexes over the road?
Same thought on the tiles….but this guy seem pretty clever so maybe they will be OK
@@cindywiech2675 He knows a lot more about building vans than I do, that's for sure! 😀
Really cool build, I like the bed which is cool. Great video Patrick! 🎉
Thanks so much!
Very very nice!

Decent setup. Looks more spacious than it is. I'm not a fan of putting the cooktop next to the bed. Good job Patrick.
The interior green colors are perfect
Beautiful and yes the bed is great!
Thank you!! 😊
@@NewJerseyOutdoorAdventures So, with the location of the bed being where it is, there's no way to exit or enter the van from the rear other than crawling under the bed?
That's such a great little shelf in the tiled wall it looks like a little window That's so pretty
Front seat swivels around so that you can look closely at the back of the shower cubicle.
also adding a tall wardrobe space for hanging a coat would be a great addition
Fantastic build, I love that all the nooks and crannies are used and everything in its place. The bed is great!
Thanks a bunch!
Holy cow! When I win the lottery, this is what I will buy! Very nice!
I like the door handles on this thing
Love the color
Nice but I'd be concerned with controls so close to stove..when cooking grease and steam could cause problems
My comment exactly otherwise really like the set up. It has everything I want for my bucket list…dream van
Stove to close to bed when open, needs a pony wall separation. Otherwise best bed I’ve seen. Nice Van.
really well thought out and well executed... my only immediate concern wound be the tile walls . not sure how long they would last
Wow, dreaming of touring the Scottish 🏴 NC500 and the Irish ☘️ Antrim cost my home turf would he very cozy 🫶 this wee van
would still be nice to have skylight/fan to reduce mold and mildew growth and to not have all of that steam disperse into the camper van
Nice one Patrick, bed design looks similar to the late model Roadtrek 190's with electric sofa, makes into a queen size or two separate singles.
Love this build!

Would you be interested in a new design washroom built between the two open rear doors
Jerry can you tell me where can buy the ceiling long wood bar like your van thanks for answering 🎉
I would buy this in a heartbeat. If my wife didn't hate the idea!
Buy it any way. You have to do what drives and excites you. Otherwise your life will become hum drum.
Great build. Love the bed. How does it work? Is it a futon mattress?
Imagine a Sasquatch face staring in at you through those windows over your bed? Lol
hi from australia nice
Question: Do the button controlls etc, above the convection stove , get moisture issues when you cook ? ie. boiling foods, etc.
That's a great question!
What are the advantages of Promaster vs Sprinter or Transit?
Very nice build. Clever. I am wondering about the interior height. How tall is Jerry?
What about hooking up a small TV?
