Hey @IGN Do you know why they don’t want to make a game based in Africa, especially in Assassin’s Creed well because in actual history, many of the warring tribes enslaved their own kind. In about 90% or even 80% of the black population of today, don’t want to admit that their own kind in Africa their own ancestors in Africa enslaved their own kind. This is why they don’t want to make any Assassin’s Creed games based in Africa.

besides a black man named Yasuke meeting Oda Nobunaga in 15th century japan in our history of course. whether or not he was trained as a samurai in a time when that was a title given to someone already trained as a fighter instead of being a specific training rank, who knows.

@@plants_before_people5329 There are Plenty of evidence to support that he wasn't. Oda Nobunaga seemingly kept him around as a novel curiosity, and was fascinated by his black skin. It wasn't because Yasuke was a skilled, noble warrior. It's documented he made Yasuke perform tricks for his amusement and loved to parade him in public where people would crowd around to see the black skinned man, so Yasuke couldn't go out in public without causing a scene. After Nobunaga was killed, it's believed that he returned to his former slave master's ship and went back to his country. What ubisoft is doing completely contradicts this real historical figure.

It's called AC: Shadows because Ubi is still living in the shadow of Ezio's theme instead of making a new one for this installment.
The theme plays in every game just remixed so it fits the setting. No problem with that

@dman1772 They are clearly going for a Syndicate kind of vibe with two main characters, one stealth oriented and the other combat focused. Ur grasping at straws honestly. And Yasuke was a real person and fought for Oda Nobu Naga and it is even theorized he assisted him in his Seppuku, and brought his head to Nobunagas son. Alot of his later life is shrouded in mystery which would fit perfect with the Assassins Creed lore.

He's part of a duo he most likely serves as a big distraction that kills a bunch of the foot soldiers while the female protagonist slips in silently & takes out the main targets.

There are countless Asians men in there respected games. This is the first time that Yasuke is being showed in a game.

Not only that, he wasn’t even a samurai, the guy was a retainer.
He was hired by Nobunga because he was fascinated by his dark skin. He was kept as a retainer until Nobunga was eventually betrayed and slain. Yasuke fought a part of that battle but eventually surrendered and was imprisoned. There isn’t much known about him outside of this.

Mirage was nice and nostalgic to the original games but this is very nice. The recent 3 games were amazing.

The era is the Sengoku Period. That gun they use looks very similar to the Tanegashima. A rifle introduced during the Sengoku period. It's also obviously Yasuke we use who again was alive during that period too. They actually got the clan symbol on his chest right too. Its the crest of the Oda clan. Civil uprising was happening at this time against many of the Lords which again would tie in to the theme of an assassin's creed. Maybe you kill the Lords of an opposing clan (your "templars"). Don't know but it looks interesting.

I've played almost all the AC, spent maybe $5 once. If you don't click the buy button or even go to the store it's like it's not even there......
Not spoiling but looking at how AC has turned out to be.....already predicitng by saying there's an ISU temple or artifact inside Mt. Fuji
Haven't played an AC game since Black Flag...might have to pick this one up 💯
