Now this is how a rebuild video should be done! 10 minutes long without all they typical acting and made up drama in between scenes. Great job everyone! The K5 Blazer is LITTERALY my favorite vehicle of all time. I had a silver and white, 1976 K5 Custom Deluxe with maroon interior when I was in high school back in the mid 80's. I miss that truck to this day.
I have a1974 blazer, been with me for 20 years and not even close to what they have done to this blazer wish I had these guys around. Much respect, good rebuild. 👍
Loved that first thing you did was going full off-road with it. It makes me sad seeing trucks getting restored to never get mudded again. It feels great to see you guys go nuts with it 🤘🖤

5:10 "You know what the best part of this is??" "What's that??" "You've got a crane" LMAO My biggest concern with this build is, you did a frame off restoration, cleaned and painted everything to look better than factory new..........except the rear end......you left it all rusty and janky looking. I'm much more of a Kobalt Blue color kinda guy, and I honestly didn't think that color was going to work on that truck, but then when I saw it all put together with the black top.......BOOM.....you nailed it. Looks great!!!!

I been working on my 78 for 3 years now and we are enjoying driving it. It a good vehicle but had a lot of rust that mostly has been replaced with new parts. I replaced the steering box and it was not cracked in the frame but it did have a crack on the opposite side or passenger side.
My dream truck is a 1991 K5 Blazer want mine in white with black accents and chrome with a 427 and has to be a manual transmission. God, i would do anything for that truck. This is a killer build great job, guys. im super jelly
Really exciting video very inspiring makes me wanna get up outta bed and get under my truck!!! Looks great and what a serious truck this turned out to be. Really enjoyed watching this video and definitely inspired especially by that rear axle and drive. Really liked this video alot!
Ну у нас бы тоже многое получалось, не будь таких цен драконовских и пошлин. Талантливых мастеров хватает. При наличии инструментов и запчастей ничуть не хуже делают. Man I grew up with K5s in the family and have always loved them. My heart stopped when they barried the truck in the drink. Beautiful color choices I wish chevy would bring this beast back🙏
@@mitchdenner9743 there's horror stories all over the internet about monster transmission. Im sure they don't send these guys one of their off the shelf transmissions.
I have a 94 s-10 drag racing truck that needs re-done that’s in good condition, but needs restoration. I couldn’t do the minor repairs it needs because I became disabled after being a 3rd generation welder for 30 years, then a over the road truck driver for the last 20 years, which crushed 2 vertebrae in my lower spine. It’s real fast and has a fresh built 383 stroker motor that was built in the Tampa Florida area and is now at my nieces house in Suffolk Virginia. It would be a good project for your show.
I had a 1973 K-5 Blazer. It had a full top on it. Where I was living at the city made me get rid of it. I had the truck for 19 years. I still miss that old truck.
I have one question about suspension, how you get high the body more than before? I mean, what are you doing? I see you change something part of suspension with another part, but i dont know if that makes the body get more high than before. Please tell me, thank you so much. I hope you understand about my question😊 Withlove, Agung from Indonesia states
First of all I will say this video got me to subscribe. Wish all builds were viewable in this time frame without all the unnecessary chatter. Second I've said this before if only GM would build a modern-day replica of an 86 or 87 Chevy truck or K5 Blazer focused on drivetrain like straight axles and bulletproof transmission and engine from the old days. Not the computerized crap they build these days that aren't worth a shit they would kill the truck market and make a huge comeback. GM ruled the 60 70s and 80s but haven't been worth a crap since. By the way beautiful K5 👍

My thoughts exactly. They do that a lot on this show. Spend thousands on paint and body just to go bashing with it.
