My theory on why Blizzardsong killed Rowantail(this might get a bit long)
So Basically what I am thinking is that Blizzardsong(despite being young) had a rather large secret crush on Flamehaze but was waiting to become a warrior in order to tell her so that way she might have a chance. But then Blizzardsong had found out about Rowantail being with Flamehaze after they had kits together,(which also caused Roawntail and Blizzardsong to argue) in which caused her to become angry and have this BURNING HATRED build and boil deep down inside of her. Therefor she waited until just the right moment to catch him eating fresh kill because she knew Chasespeckle had recently collected some deathberries. therefore she sneaked into the med den. so basically she killed him via posion.
short version: Blizzardsong posions Rowantail in jealousy and blind rage over him being with Flamehaze.
this is all i could come up with and I hope to see more of clan gen soon! super excited for the next episode to come out and maybe more answers and questions to be answered!

Alright, so I thought maybe since you kept on avoiding the dogs, they eventually found the camp and attacked it. This is because 1. Like you said, there was no reason for Addertail to be doing something dangerous, so what if a dog got them. Medicane cats aren’t taught how to fight well, so they couldn’t defend themselves against the dogs. 2. Chasepaw lost their tail to a dog that same moon. And 3. Amity got their Warrior name, maybe from defending the camp from dogs (this is just a guess, not facts). So maybe if you avoid the dogs for too long, they attack your camp and/or find you eventually.
Just a thought.

@wafflecats well, I don’t think they would have not been hurt because they got a lot of scars from fighting foxes. You could be right but I’m just saying that they have a lot of experience. A cat could die if they aren’t paying attention or the apprentice/warrior/kit aren’t experienced
Aight, I'm betting that Odd and Oddbush have a Cinderheart and Cinderpelt type situation, where they aren't exactly a reincarnation, but they are similar to them in many ways, and have some of the knowledge/skills their successor had. Maybe I'm just saying this because I remember Power Of Three pretty well, but they feel similar.

Blizzardsong is empathetic and a good speaker... I wonder what provoked them?

Maybe they were picking up on something from Flamehaze (daring, good speaker) that set them against Rowantail (daring, smart) - Rowantail was feeling sassy the previous moon, so maybe they said something to hurt Flamehaze? Or just maybe, they said something to Flamehaze that Blizzardsong didn't agree with, but realized that Flamehaze *did* seem to.
Forgive me if I'm butchering Rowan's character, because I can't remember entirely how they've been overall, but since they were a kittypet before, I wonder if they mentioned something about that to Flame? I think I remember him being nervous about being a father in an earlier moon (could be wrong), and I wonder if he might've mentioned taking the kits to the vet to make sure they're healthy, or even to a twoleg nest until they're closer to apprentice age, just to make sure they're safe (*especially* if Sandkit was already sick)? I think there may have been something of a tragic misunderstanding, in that Blizzardpaw/song suspected he intended to take Flamehaze and their kits away permanently. Blizzard was Cloverstripe's apprentice, and has exhibited a willingness to put in work for the clan's benefit, so I think it wouldn't be a stretch to say they've got a heavy sense of responsibility to their clan - they're devoted to it and its customs. (Plus, their sire was unknown - I wonder if they're a little insecure about it? unsure!) They must've thought they could take it into their own paws, for one reason or another - perhaps they wanted to prove themself? - and I think they confronted Rowan, to try and dissuade him (they *are* a good speaker), perhaps while Flame was in the medicine den (her flavourtext in the previous moon). They couldn't change his mind. It led to blows, and at the end, Rowan was dead at their paws, their white fur stained red.
I don't think it was premeditated. What would a deputy's apprentice, aspiring warrior following in the footsteps of perhaps the clan's most respected cat, get from killing one their own clanmates? I don't know if it was public, though - it could've been on a patrol, I'm not sure if the rest of the clan knows... Either way HOLY shit I'm looking forward to the next episode :}}
I love this so far! Did you notice that Rowantail was Odd's apprentice? Even tho she literally just joined? It makes the Odd/Oddbush reincarnation thing more possible, like Applestar is so convinced that she *is* Oddbush that she's given her an apprentice already, LMAO! As well as Chasepaw being Odd's apprentice! She got two apprentices in a *row!*
I also saw Olivears as Charm's little sister - since Charm is 10+ moons older than Olive, so I imagine she joined cos she was protective of her little sister...as for the whole Rowantail situation...maybe Blizzard doesn't have a crush on Flame, as there may be multiple reasons. Maybe Blizzard thought Rowantail wasn't a good mate and wanted to 'protect Flame'. I feel like maybe she saw Flame as an older sister due to the fact they looked up to Flame growing up and so on...
I have a headcanon that there is a fox nest in their territory and that’s why Mudclanclan has to fight foxes so often.
What if Odd is only half of oddbush? Because they are pure orange- and missing the bush part- what if you end up finding a pure white cat named Bush 👀

I agree with "Blizzardsong have a crush on Flamehaze" thing since the two had an argument specifically about her. Maybe them having kittens with Romantail got her sad & angry (she was hoping that they would break up soon or later) and then something involving Flamehaze happened so Blizzardsong killed Romantail. I don't think that Romantail was a bad couple for Flamehaze tho - there was litteraly something going on inside Blizzardsong's heart all this time, it was fully her will to do this
Think that skiping a moon and watching Flamehaze's and Blizzardsong's behavior will let things clear

Honestly, Sandy looks like a reincarnated Softstar. They are both calico, female, and have a fluffy tail (I think Softstar had a fluffy tail). It'd make sense, since Softstar wants to check up on the clan, so that would lead to Oddbush wanting to check on them to like Softstar, so she got reincarnated as Odd, but doesn't know. But maybe Rockstem is got to old to realise that it's Oddbush. Also, Sandy sits in the same position as Softstar.
Theory 2: with Addertail's death, maybe it was a Yellowfang (which is my fav character btw) Brokentail situation. Maybe Driftshade was helping him with an injury, and purposely gave him death berries, and maybe there was a secret or grudge involved, and maybe he feels bad now because maybe he realizes he didn't need to do that.

Maybe they had an argument over the kits at 50:18? Earlier he was nervous because of being a father n' all, so it might be she was concerned and decided to "confront" him. This could also fit in with the disease, too. Blizzard could have blamed him for the death of his kit, and he would probably be angry- she could even point out his kittypet heritage, even. I imagine it to start out about the kits, but then they eventually argue for FlameHaze to take their side!
I wonder if Adder was out with Chase and Amity collecting herbs last minute to scrounge up what's left of the herbs
And the dog found them and Adder, being the only adult, tried to protect the two younger cats, died, and Chase probably got got by the dog, maybe Amity proved himself by getting the dog to let go of her and then the two brought Adder back but it was too late.
I was so sad when Addertail died. I pictured him a smart but cautious cat, and oddly charming. I kinda shipped him and Sandy, but not as much as I shipped Honeyjaw and Sandy. Anyway, I think Addertail would make a great medicine cat if he lived to see that day.

Hi one year later but I'm rewatching and only considered now how Hazelfire and Flamehaze have names that are a little matchy matchy reminiscent of each other which is ADORABLE for a little sibling duo

i think the argument was about blizzardsong seeing flamehaze and rowantail fight, but blizzard saw it as if rowantail was being manipulative and forcing flamehaze to do all of his dirty work.

was playing with clangen, the insecure deputy 2 moons before had his clanmates blame him for lack of prey and then he's been acting suspicious and timeskip 2 moons later he was killed by a dog
so my guess was poor graytail [the deputy] was trying to prove himself and then died

I have a theory about Rowantail's death. So if you look at Flamehaze and Blizzardsong's brother Vinefire, they look allot alike. Maybe that fight was about that, but that's a theory. I'm probably not the only one who pointed that out.

Everyone is saying how Blizzardsong maybe had a crush on Flamehaze, or Blizzardsong didn't believe Rowantail was a good mate for Flamehaze, but I have another theory.
Maybe, just maybe, Rowantail had heard something about Blizzardsong and was gonna tell Flamehaze about it. Blizzardsong didn't want anyone to know of that thing she did, and so out of blind rage, instinctively killed Rowantail to keep the secret from spreading (since cats can be quite gossipy).
Let's just hope for Blizzardsong's sake, it was a pure accident and the other cats don't hear about it.
I think that blizzardsong might’ve been training in the dark forest because after rowantails death his status thingy said he was worried about cats in the dark forest so maybe that could’ve been involved? but it also doesn’t really make sense because like why was rowantail targeted!!
Also Rowantail died the same moon one of their kits did! I'm wondering if that wasn't a coincidence.... even if the kit did die from illness maybe Blizzardsong made it look like Rowantail died of an illness as well!

My theory of why Blizzard'Song killed Rowan'Tail :
Remember when Blizzard' paw was exicted for the dawn patrol? Well, maybe in that day they were so exicted that they went crazy, but this isn't the first time they are going crazy! One time when they were a kit, they thought they were going CRAZY and I think it's because ; Maybe Blizzard' Kit had a vision from Starclan about them being CRAZY in the future, so they panicked and sens they couldn't take walks (and speak to Apple'Star) or talk to anybody about it, they panicked and overthinked about it. But, they forgot about it from their apprenticeship and started being obsessed with it but, they were getting attached to thinking of how "wondeful" they'd be as a warrior and started being abit aggresive if anybody points out to it, but I think Flame'Haze was the only cat that didn't point it out. So Blizzard'Paw was their freind because of that. When they became a warrior, they became even more then just CRAZY! They overthinked too much about it and they became INSANE!
Rowan'Tail has had enough, so Rowan'Tail pointed out how they've been overthinking too much and they need to calm down and stop, and that Flame' Haze should've pointed out that too! Blizzard'Song was so crazy and insane that they argued about it and they killed Rowan'Tail and was proud because they thought they'd become stronger...
And now. Maybe Flame' Haze will take revenge? I think not, because Blizzard'Song is too insane and crazy and could also kill Flame'Haze.

Maybe Blizzardsong blamed Flamehaze for the death of two of their Clan members. He thought Flamehaze was too distracted by fatherhood/his mate to be a good and proper medicine cat. Rowantail immediately jumped to Flamehaze's side and most likely demanded a duel over Flamehaze's honor. Or Blizzardsong initiated the duel, but I doubt that. We see this happen in the OG books when Longtail challenges Rusty's place in the clan. Of course, they didn't kill each other, but it still shows cats will throw paws over honor.
I really hope Lizardfin is going to become the deputy,and since Rustberry and Lizardfin were kits and Rustberry was also comforted a lot and Lizardfin might've felt left out she thinks she needs to prove to the clan she is good enough

In my opinion, Lizard`Fin should actually be the next deputy. They were there from the start of the whole series! But afterwards once they become leader I do think you really should pick Duck`leg if they don't have anything bad happen to them
I'm thinking that Blizzardsong isn't inherently bad. I think they were jealous about Rowantail and Flamehaze. So they got into an argument with Rowantail. And since Blizzardsong is empathetic, I think they meant to just injure Rowantail, not kill him.
Or we could go the villain route and say Blizzardsong did mean to kill Rowantail and is playing off that they are empathetic. Maybe Blizzardsong trained in the dark forest?
I had a cat named Jaggedsong (who was the DEPUTY) and she killed the former deputy over his (Crickettail's) mate Yellowcloud, not to mention Jaggedsong was Plumspark's mate...and now Jaggedsong is the leader-
